Implant Journey

Postby adidasman777 » Sun May 07, 2023 6:14 am

I will be using this thread in case I decide to go through with getting an implant. And if I do I will keep updating it here for those who would find it helpful.

Here are the steps:
1. Tried basically all other options
2. Researching online about implants
3. Talking to a Uro and discussing Implants
4. Deciding if I should go ahead and which implant to get.
5. Getting the implant
6. Recovery
7. Daily life updates
8. Sex

I am currently at step number 3, just talked to another urologist and basically I have to decide if I want to go through with it or not.

I salute your research on step #3.
I belong to Kaiser HMO in a metropolitan area (So. Cal). My urologist said he would refer me to as many surgeons as I wanted him to to help me discern if I wanted to do the surgery and if so which surgeon. I saw 6 (six). I went into the surgery feeling it was the best option for both me and my wife, knowing I had done my due diligence. I have never had any serious reservation and am happy with the results 2.5 years later.
Best of luck & prayers that you have peace with your decision.
