First deflation pain

I was released to cycle at 4 weeks, and deflation was a pain-free celebration day. I could feel all parts of my pump from the beginning, and could easily identify the deflation button from the moment I took the wraps off. I just moved the pump over to where I wasn't pushing on my healing incision, pressed the button and felt the MS pump vibrate, indicating fluid was going back to the reservoir. I never have had any pain deflating, and after 60 minutes at max inflation I welcome deflation like a cool summer breeze.

You and me put up with the indignity of a 4 (you) and 6 (me) week chub, but pain-free inflation seems to be one side benefit of waiting so long. Most of these painful deflations seem to happen at 2-3 weeks. I’m pretty sure if i’d deflated then it would have been a proper “yikes!” moment.

OP. ….Whatever you experience, it’ll pass and it’ll be worth it. I know it feels like a journey into the unknown at this point. So, consider it an adventure of sorts.

Man you all are scareing me, I have surgery June 5th!! I'm excited to a point of having a working dick again but the pain down there I do t know.

Don't be overly afraid. It is temporary & you do have pain pills. My third & fourth days were the worst. My pills were one every 6 hours. I did exceed that for those two days. That made me nervous. I had ibuprofen but I'm mildly allergic to it so I used it sparingly. In hind sight I should of used it a little more aggressively. At the seventh day I still had two of my twenty pain pills left. Once you turn the corner the pain decreases fairly quickly.
I had pain in my shaft due to keeping it pointing up. I think having a 10cm proximal might explain that. That pain did respond to Aspercreme on my shaft. Same for sack pain, nurse did caution me to not put it on my incision.
Btw, I have not had a "wtf did I do this for" moment. I expected to be in discomfort.

I went for my 2 week follow up yesterday. They checked me out and all looked Good.

They then tried to deflate me. I suppose I was only 40% inflated. Wow that really hurt a lot. I was screaming. No one has ever mentioned this on this forum before so I did not expect this.

Apparently the deflate buttom was below the scrotum incision.

I am OK today but man that really hurt.

Yeah, it hurt pretty bad at week 6 for me, when I was deflated and had to pump it back up. Device Training
I can’t imagine at the two week point.

I can't think of anything more painful than my followup to deflate the physcians assistant was the nicest guy and I liked him a lot but he massaged my dick so hard to get the fluid out of the cylinders it felt as if he was running my dick over with a steam roller. I had to grip the table to not jump through the ceiling. Then he wanted me to try on my own LOL. I gently squeeze my penis as an old lady might gently squeeze a baby's cheek and the PA shook his head no and went back to the steam roller technique hahaha in hindsight I would have triple dosed my pain meds for this visit.
