Love the ice, reduces swelling massively, takes away any of the pain/ weird feelings i get, itching, deep sack pain from the pump, shaft and glands tenderness. Way better than the pain meds for me, didn’t really need those, maybe days 4-6 at night.

that way you can pump up to 50 percent, and do Dr Perito's stretching exercises and then pump up to the max and see how long you can go without a lot of discomfort in your shaft and behind your glans.

Hillywilly, I couldn't handle 100 percent inflation when I started cycling. I had to get in a warm bath just to do the stretching. I think I could get to maybe 70 percent and bend it to stretch. If I tried to pump all the way with no more pumps available, it would hurt like heck.

It all worked out, I don't have any pain or discomfort when pumped up for an hour and a half, I haven't left it pumped up past that.

14 days

I had very little pain till last friday, i put 5 pumps in and couldnt get the release valve to work, kinda felt like day 3 again but worse. All better this morning. I am going to try my best to not be an idiot from here on. So far recovery has been easy besides my self inflicted pain. I will post an update if there is anything worth mentioning or when i start cycling and banging the misses. Week 4-6

Did Dr. Clavell advise you to put pumps into your 14 day old new penis? I didn't touch a thing until 4 weeks out, and at that point I contacted him and asked if I could. He asked for pics of my incision first, looked it over and gave me the go ahead at 4 weeks to start cycling. At 5 weeks I was released to use it for *other things, but largely due to a secondary incision on my shaft he made to remove scar tissue he couldn't get through.

Unless he's telling you to cycle, I'd leave it alone....

No he didn't tell me to, hence the I'm an idiot comment. not sure anyone feels the same but I am my worst enemy at time. All good now though, and I feel for those who went through pain, I had almost none until I self inflicted myself.

My drs nurse saw me at day 15. She was able to find all the important features of the pump bulb. But of course she knows very well what it feels like. She did deflate me with no pain. I did feel a very small pop. She even squeezed the cylinders to show me fully empty. Unfortunately I wasn't able to locate the release button consistently. I made an appointment for day 22 for more coaching. I did make sure to take 2 ibuprofen an hour before the appointment. The key piece of advice was to buy a heating pad & use it before doing any "do it yourself" exploring.
Even though it was a nice was summer day in the Rocky mountains. My scrotal skin just wasn't going to cooperate enough. As many have said before, heat really helps.
Oh, I had stopped my testosterone injections, she said there wasn't a reason to not take them.
Just sharing my experience. As we have observed, drs are all over the place on their recovery protocols.

OK, cool, I have not tried a heating pad. I will give a hot bath a try and or heating pad in a couple weeks when I get the all clear.

I haven't been cleared to start cycling ( or using ) my implant yet but I've been reading guys talking about warm baths and heating pads to help soften the pump up and it got me thinking about those " hot hands " you put in your gloves in the winter . Especially for the single guys wanting to conceal their implant to their date . Just put a hot hand in your pocket or underwear and it'd be ready to go when she is
