Guys new Titan will be available in 4 years. That’s all I know….
Was wondering if anyone had heard anything about the new unit from their surgeon or anyone with a coloplast relationship.

Re: New titan in 4 years
When I was scheduling my surgery with Dr Clavell, I had asked him if a new implant would be right around the corner and would I benefit from waiting. I said I would hate to FINALLY ( after 3 years ) get my surgery and the following month the new model comes out . He laughed and said no . He said that he is a consultant for both Coloplast and AMS . They are working on the next generation of implants but he suspected it'd be 7 years before they'd hit the market. ( testing and approval )

I hope they build something that lasts wayy more. I am terrified by all the early failures here within 1-2 years.
Venous like since I was 20 years old. Pills don't work too well. Thinking of implant in the future

Its my guess that they'll never make an implant that meets your expectations.

Interesting Hakky is a consultant for coloplast and he told me 4 last week. Regardless hoping to have my implant last until then.

Seen info on the blue tooth all in one model, but no definite release date. If you're waiting for it to come out that's a lot of sex you're gonna miss out on.

Just coming off a surgery and still healing , I'm definitely not ready for an upgrade. I'm excited about the future again thanks to my hydraulic boner . Having said that it'll be cool to see what these 2 great companies ( coloplast, AMS ) come up with next . I think 4 years sounds like a more realistic time-line.

They arent making a product that meets their own expectations for it. Everywhere they say it lasts an average of 10 years but I have only heard of 3 guys that had their implant for 10 years. The average is 6-7 years from what I see here and some unlucky guys 1-2

There aren't many guys who still come talk about their implant 10+ years later. There are many guys who have an implant that is older than 6-7 years. Remember this forum exists so guys can come crab about the problems.
There are supposed to be 3,000+ guys implanted every month somewhere around the world. That's 36,000+ men every year. How many guys are registered here? It's also a male ego thing. Some guys are afraid to admit their male part doesn't work anymore, much less admit they had surgery to fix it.

I don't think they are planning on building an inferior product to the predecessor. A surgery every 6-7 years is not that bad. The advice that you will need multiple revisions throughout your life assumes medical technology will not change over the next 50-60 years tissue regeneration, prosthetics, Gene editing will all stagnate. AI is outperforming doctors in diagnostics and discovering new proteins and by 2050 is projected to be more intelligent than all of human kind. I would say the probability of no technological advancement in the medical space is low.
