Eid Day Happens in exactly 24 hours!

Postby NJ Fred » Wed May 17, 2023 11:42 am

The sands in the hourglass of anticipation are about to run-out. For at 11am eastern time tomorrow - Thurs., 5/18/23, I will enter the "office on East 63rd St." and meet Dr. Eid. I know the area well; at the foot of an exit ramp from the upper deck of the 59th St. Bridge on its' Manhattan side.

I am 74 y/o and a prostate cancer survivor ("PCa") - - my PCa a souvenir of my six 6 months working on the World Trade Center Rescue/Recovery operation.

I currently have a failed (cannot inflate) AMS 700 placed in me in June 2020 (prior to my PCa diagnosos). It never worked as advertised. Admittedly, I was a bit gun-shy of a revision. As those who have been know, the immediate post surgical recovery and initial inflation efforts can be less-than-pleasurable.

After extensive reading of this site - thanks to the guys who contributed - I am leaning towards a malleable for the revision. The everlasting affects of my PCa include my taking a very long time to reach a climax. The amount of my ejaculate can fit on the head of a pin. Hell, damn all that - - The Good Lord blessed me with a victory over the Big Casino. My final decision will be made after Dr. Eid's counsel.

After interacting with the World Class Myra of Doc Eid's staff, I go forward with complete confidence.

If anybody cares to chime in with some last minute wisdom about malleables, I would be grateful.

Stay Well, everyone!

Hi Fred,

You have made a good decision. Dr. Eid installed my implant a few years back, and I am completely satisfied with his work. His office staff and nurses were all first rate.

Expect to be impressed with Dr. Eid's manner. He has a calm confidence that comes from extensive experience in performing thousands of implant surgeries. When I saw him, he told me that about half of his surgeries were to repair/replace implants that were installed improperly.

Please relay to Dr. Eid that his patients are relieved that he is back to work at improving people's quality of life. The only way I could be happier is if my original equipment were still functional.

Good luck on your quest. It is worth it.

Best of luck Fred! Eid is one of the most recognized implant docs around, guess that means you're in good hands.
Just wondering why a malleable? I am quite happy with my Titan as much as it took a couple months to adapt to it.

My attraction to malleable is, I believe, rooted in the failure of my currently installed inflatable device. And I know that is somewhat feckless and silly.

You have both been supportive and I am grateful. Again I say, my final decision will be made only after Dr. Eid's counsel.

Guys, I am excited and ready to rumble.

Thank you again!
