Yes, it is not a good idea to do injections with PD. I was detecting some scar tissue after injecting, which was a major factor that influenced me to go for the implant. I know a lot of guys are very happy being dick stickers, but I prefer to have spontaneous sex. For that, the implant is the only way to fly! Over 2 years, I'm a happy camper!

From what I have read, scar tissue build up occures in less than 10 % of the injecting population. I have been applying an "experimental" solution of DMSO and detoxified iodine for the two years I have been injecting. I know it dosn't prove anything but I have no signs of scar tissue.

I saw a new urologist about one month ago. Haven't posted as I was very sick with near pneumonia. He felt there was no reason not to have me try an injection even with PD. He injected me and it hurt like hell. Wasn't expecting that much pain given what I'd heard.

I got sick a few days later and am only now recovering. So while I have the kit at home I haven't tried to give myself a shot yet.

He did say I responded very strongly to a low dose and Rx'd a stronger dose. But don't know how I get past this pain issue.

Hey Raven!

It seems strange that your Uro prescribed a higher dose after experiencing effective results with a lower dose. When I hit my effective dose, my Uro suggested reducing the next dose.

Was your pain a result of the injection itself or the medication following the injection?
