"fixating too much". How much is too much?

If the attention you pay to engorgement interferes with your enjoyment, then that is too much.

Whatever engorgement you have is what you have and it is up to you to 1) figure out how best to use that engorgement to your wife's and your enjoymennt and 2) figure out how much effort you want to put into improving your engorgement.

You "run what you brung" to the races and play the cards you are dealt (to throw a couple metaphors your way).

I usually get great engorgement but if I get distracted or anxious it goes away. Asking if anyone finds it easy to come without it.?

Without engorgement it's crap. For me and partner. No sensitivity, less size for her, less natural.

I use a cock ring the implant. Works well.

As I posted in another thread, personally I lost most of my engorgement from my implant. So I use some daily cialis plus other means to engorge it for sex. I need sensitivity of my glans to achieve orgasm, although my wife always does which is very different from pre-implant, and makes both of us happy!
I have made it what I would term a “fun hobby interest” (vs obsession) to find the best means of engorgement including ED meds, Nitro Bid, Trimix gel and various doses of Miso injected or topical (I don’t care for the VED/ring method due to the timing limitations) They all work to varying degrees and length of effect for me. I agree with the above reference to avoiding/limiting alcohol — especially before sex as it lessens sensitivity for me.
Just my non-medical experience fwiw — I have found in other threads that there are widely varying opinions on this topic, all of which I respect as it is a very personal issue.

The first few months I had very little engorgement naturally. Think it has to do with internal swelling cutting off blood flow. As the months clicked by I noticed it was coming back. By 6 months was pretty good. Now a year out I can pump and it’s flat and oval. Start stimulating orally by wife or even manually myself it starts engorging. Somewhere along the line I started using 5mg cialis again and it really seems to help. I even wake up sometimes really early in the morning feeling a little chubby like back in the pre ED days. I get my cialis compounded at a local pharmacy and get 30 20mg trokies for about $30 so it goes a long way. I’m inconsistent with it too but seems to be better when I do use it.
