How do YOU measure penis length ?

I bring this up not because I don't know how but when I Googled it I get conflicting information. Some sites or images show pushing a ruler to the pubic bone and measuring to the tip from the top of the penis . Other sites or images show putting the ruler on THE SIDE of the penis . I measure a 1/4 longer from the side !? So a couple days after surgery ( after discovering Franktalk) I measured my length ( from top of penis ) . I measured 6.25" . Measured 2 weeks later ( top again ) I hit 6.5". Now almost 4 weeks post op , to my surprise, I measured 6.75" this morning! How is this possible? I haven't even cycled yet . That's why I Googled ( again ) " What's the correct way to measure penis length " When I tried measuring from the side I was right at 7" . I'm pleasantly surprised but I don't want inflated numbers . I want the correct number . I want a good honest baseline so I can track any increases when I start cycling in 2 weeks . Anyone else noticed increases after surgery BEFORE cycling. Am I pressing the ruler too hard ? How are you guys measuring length ?

I just remembered something. Maybe the reason for the extra 1/4 gain. Just the night before I started doing the " Perito " exercises. I was really bending it down and up . Stretching that " surgical sac " to the max

I've always heard the accepted method is to place a ruler at the top of the penis and push it firmly into the pubic bone.
Not so hard as to be painful, but enough to compress the majority of the fatty tissue.

It varies between individuals. Some men have a deep crus. Some men have a shallow crus. Difficult to tell until you cut and measure.

I imagine it does. But VERY slowly, like months or years.

Generally accepted measurement technique here is to press the fat pad at the top of the penis to measure from the pubic bone along the top of the penis to the tip of the glans/meatus/uretthra. Take the length perpendicular to the axis of the penis just like one measures one's height at the doctor's office.

I had this discussion with my drs nurse. The dr enters the corpra at a certain spot. Not sure what is called but it sounded like where some tissue attaches. I was asking because if I subtract my proximal measurement from my implant length I have a number smaller than my stretch test length.
Also, the distal part of the implant is misleading. You need to add from your implants tips in the glan area to the very tip. Surprisingly this measurement is really close to my stretched test number.
I always felt the stretch test was bogus. Seems that it might be actually related to something relevant.

I personally measure the visible penis. Put the lad perpendicular to the ground and place not press a ruler at the point where it meet the body..
I was wondering why everyone on this has a well above average penis!!!

You're right! I forgot to calculate that the implant doesn't comprise the actual total length . It stops about an inch from the end of the glans. Good catch

One reason your length could be increasing prior to pumping is swelling could be going down in the pubic area as the days go by. I didn’t start perito exercises til I started pumping but that was at 13 days. I did start gradually though.
