Hi Entourage,

It would help FT members if you can put up a signature like many members have.
When do you start cycling? I started cycling after 3 weeks and was in a considerable amount of pain at the 3 week mark. Sometimes it took more than 1 hour for pain to go away post cycling. now at 9 weeks I still get pain if I cycle and masturbate. I am yet to have sex.

What is happening in your case is normal. Painkillers did help me a lot but I did try to bear the pain after 3 weeks. I would advise you to keep increasing the hours spent between painkillers. Also, be prepared for pain during cycling also.

Hope you feel better soon. At 3 week mark one can start to freak out (like I did as well if you read my journal) but it all gets better. The calming influence of fellow FT members with their experiences helped me.

Regards,
Atul

I can't understand how you keep the penis pointing downwards, with the titan it's really difficult and annoying to position it downwards, I can't do it, after 1 minute it would hurt like hell, I don't know if it could depend on your curve, it's was the doctor told you to put it face down, if it wasn't him could you ask if you can put it face up, if not sure it's much more comfortable, the titan is much stiffer than ams, i've seen pictures of ams with penis facing downwards that I could never position with my titan, I have always had it facing upwards, today it is 17 weeks, I have made a very slow recovery like you, it is improving very slowly but it is improving, it is very nerve-wracking, you have to have a lot of patience, I still have a few little problems, so prepare yourself mentally that you will still need at least 2/3/4 months before things start to go downhill, these things should be told by implantologists to their patients, so that nobody panics, unfortunately it doesn't happen, fortunately there is this community that helps each other

Anyone who had the surgery with me or later is completely healed this fills me up with anxiety.
Im always popping pain killers or let oral 10 mg.
Woke up without meds on day 21 pain was at scale 3.

Yes, the early days of healing. For the first 2-3 weeks my pain level was 9/10. Took so many meds I ended up with other issues. Once healed enough to take a bath that was my daily relief from pain. I also used Aspercream, a small dab smeared along my shaft did wonders to ease the soreness. This isn't one of the easiest surgeries to heal up from.

I'm sure the pain is worse than it should be because your penis is facing downwards, the titan cylinders are really stiff, they already hurt facing upwards, let alone downwards

Hello guys
Yes I will soon put a signature.
My body is just veils diffrent there’s no way I would ever put it upwards. Even before ED that was not possible. After the surgery I tried many times to pull it forward but I can only go 30 percent upwards.
Yes with the Titan it’s really hard to put downwards. I wear really baggy light pants like the ones you sleep in. And point it leftwards. Hurts a lot but I take the pain meds. I woke up today with serious pain in the tips and shaft. A few minutes later pain from the tubing. I can’t thank this community for supporting me enough. But every now and then panic starts.

I had the surgery 13 months ago. I've had chronic pain ever since then. It's been awful. I didn't have this pain before then.

I'm one of the lucky ones. I had a infrapubic surgery. I really didn't have much swelling or bruising. I took pain medication for 3 or 4 days but really didn't have very much pain. Had some easy sex because I was still a little sensitive. We had sex st 3 weeks and 3 days a few times after that. At 11 weeks post-op had my first organism with the implant. This is when I realized I had no more discomfort or pains during sex. Had my 2nd organism three days later. Today I'm 12 weeks post-op and I can feel a lot more sensation in my penis. It seems to be getting better and better every week.
I know the first times having sex my penis didn't feel like it was a part of me. Now it does and feels better than before my surgery.
Good luck to you and your pain level.

My journey is 15 months old. I am pain free now. It has taken is time to get back to normal. About 6 months ago I began treatment by a neurosergeon for a back problem. He prescribed Gabapentin, it seem to really help with my penile post surgery pain. He started me off with 100 mg dose and it did wonders for my Penile pain. It has not done a whole lot for my back.

Coloplast Titan installed Nov 17 2022. The first 11 days was incredibly painful pump and area and learning to cycle was painful as well. I'm having a great time with no pain and no issues. Pumping is easy as opposed to the rock hard beginning beginning. Guess its different for everyone. I think of Perito after every orgasm lol.
