profirefight wrote:So a little about me….

I am 35 years old, married, have a career I love and a life that I love. However, ED has been an ongoing issue for me for the last 11 years.

Let me back up some and start with my past, because I do believe that my past experience with drugs has been a huge contributing factor as to why I have severe ED today.

From the age of 11 until age 24 I used alcohol and drugs almost daily. I ended up with a cocaine and crack cocaine addiction that lasted for 5 years and I believe the constant use of stimulants in the high amounts that I was taking messed up my vascular system in some way.

After getting sober, I started using anabolic steroids and of course, I abused those as well. Now here I am today at 35 years old, sober from drugs and alcohol for over 4 years, and only on replacement Testosterone therapy through a doctor.

Today… I am unable to get hard almost at all. If I take 100mg if Viagra I have about a 50/50 chance of getting an erection hard enough to have penetrative sex with. And then even if that happens, I lose the erection as soon as it goes in.

ED meds constantly make me feel like shit, headaches, flushing, always stopped up and can’t breathe and they simply just aren’t working anymore.

I have been doing reading on implants and I have an appointment scheduled in a couple of weeks. I do know he may want to try other routes such as tri mix injections or penis pumps, but I am simply unwilling to rely on either of those for a sex life. I’ve been at this long enough and it’s something I can’t handle anymore. I need a permanent fix!!!!!

I do have insurance through my job (Aetna/Meritain) but I doubt they will cover it due to my last drug and steroid abuse. So, I am prepared to pay out of pocket.

The urologist I am meeting with is Matthew Pollard in Nashville, TN

Anyway, that’s really it for now. I just wanted to make a post to maybe open up some dialogue or for other people out there in my situation.

Thanks for reading.

I would not even meet with that urologist. I would go see hakky or Clavell if I were you. They are part of an actual class of urologists that understand sexual medicine

Hey guys I have my implant surgery on June 13 and I couldn’t be more excited. I do have a question for you guys.

My penis has ALWAYS curved slightly downward as seen in the picture. I have honestly never thought too much about it or had a problem with it and still done. However, if I could choose to have it completely straight or even better, a slight curve upward at the end instead, I definitely would.

And now that I’m about to get implanted I was wondering if you guys thought the implant might possibly straighten my penis out completely.

I will be getting an AMS 700 CX

THANKS IN ADVANCE !!

Mild scar tissue gave me an upward curve more than this, and the implant immediately straightened it out (without any work for the scar tissue). I'd be surprised if it won't straighten you out.

Good luck mate

profirefight, Going into surgery, I had a 60-degree+ curve to the left and massive Peyronie's plaque. Dr. said the implant reduced my curve to 30-degrees, but it didn't look that curved to me. After a few weeks of cycling and use, my dick was and still is almost totally straight, and hard as a steel pipe. That's what an AMS CX did for me and bet you will be happy with the result. Just make sure you are going to a skilled, high volume implant sexual medicine doctor.

This is so encouraging, and also because you have an AMS CX just like I will be getting..

And yes the surgeon I’m using is HIGH HIGH volume

Well over 7000 implant surgeries done

So I actually called my surgeons clinical coordinator today and asked her a couple of questions that I had. Keep in mind, this lady has been working for my surgeon for 30 years so i have faith that she has a lot of knowledge on most topics. Also keep in mind that my surgeon (Dean Knoll) has done well over 7000 IPP surgeries and also travels the entire world teaching other doctors how to do the surgery. In my opinion, he is the best out there…

QUESTION 1
Anyway, I told her that Dr. Knoll will be implanting an AMS CX in me and that I was wondering if I could hope to keep all of my length.

She said that since I don’t have Peyronies and I don’t have any scarring that I should definitely end up with my full length. So I was happy about that.

QUESTION 2
I told her about my slight downward curve when I am erect and she was fully confident the implant will straighten that out entirely. This makes me really happy because I feel like my penis will appear larger if it’s fully straight as opposed to curbing downward.

15 days out of surgery today!!!!!!! I’m excited… the only thing that bums me out is being out of
The gym… I’m hoping that doesn’t take too long and I recover nicely. The gym is what gets me through hard times man.
