Well, I was sort of in between, a grower and a shower.

After about 4 to 6 months, you don’t think about it.

When I touch my flaccid Dick, I can definitely feel the implant but it doesn’t bother me. Even when it is totally deflated, it can still show a little depending on what type of pants or shorts that I have on.

I have the AMS 700 LGX so it has a better flaccid than the Coloplast Titan.

I probably could have asked for a Titan but my doc used AMS 700, I had my implant done at a military hospital, there was another urologist on staff that used the Titan.

I’m 100 percent satisfied

I seem to be alone on this forum concerning my implant, but you can 100% feel the rods in the glans area, for me. Not so much in the shaft. The women I have been with have all said they could feel it was an implant and it felt like straws poking them. My doctor suggested taking 2 cialis before intercouse, but I haven't tried that yet. When I masturbate, on the upstroke you can feel the rods and the tips and it doesn't feel good to me. When I reach down to adjust my penis in my underwear, all I can feel are the rods and the pump, very noticeable. That's my experience anyway

I experience the same when pumped up and unaroused, such as when cycling. Sexual arousal and glans engorgement makes the difference for me. The extra blood flow there creates a cushioning effect. It’s better at 90%. At 100% i feel the tips in my glans.

I still can, if I think about it, but, when flaccid, not as easily as I could in the first few months after surgery. But I can definitely tell there is an implant in my penis if I feel around for it and very easily in my scrotum. The pump is readiy apparant (implant inflated or not) to palpation.

But feeling/knowing the implant is there is irrelevant to me. Only that it works.

I know there is a gerbox in my car and I can feel which gear I am in. But I only really care that it works.

You are not alone, EricDraven. I can geel the tips in my glans whether inflated or not and can feel the rods crinkle and fold when uninflated, but only when I feel for them. Otherwise, ignoring them works for me.

As far as the women feeling "poked" during intercourse, the suggestion of not inflating fully might relieve that, at least partially. Also, if you are very long, perhaps a position that does not penetrate so far would be more comfortable for them? Certainly, if your spongiosum (in your shaft and glans) is not getting fully engorged Iwhich would provide some padding) the cialis should help there.

If you had surgery or treatments that interferes with your arousal and engorgement, let us hope that goes away in time or with additional oral medications.

I suggest a method that works for me, I take cialis 5mg a day, on sex day I take 50mg viagra or 10mg cialis, inflate to max like for riding a bike for 5 minutes then deflate a bit to take it to 80/85% it becomes almost round like my pre-implanted cock, and the tips are no longer felt, then I adjust during sex if I have to give a couple of other pumps, it happened to me that I did it from start to finish without add pumps, I had inflated perfectly, by eye I think it was 85%

I also can feel the tips. Not so much in the glans itself, but on the underside of my dick, where my glans meets the shaft. I get very good glans engorgement, but honestly i'd still like if there was more tissue between the tips and skin (as there is on the upper side of my dick).

I plan on asking Dr. Hakky if he may be able to Urofill that area (ofc also the rest of the shaft to make it aesthetic) to create a cushion where i can feel the tips. I think this could work.

I’m 6 months post implant. Generally I now go about my daily activities without constant awareness of the implant. But there are still small reminders such as feeling the tips when I pee and it takes more effort to expel the last drops. I need to re-adjust more often, especially when sitting or sliding into a car seat. The deflated cylinders feel different vs natural flaccid penis flesh and the pump is fairly apparent. I don’t think I will ever not feel the implant or have some occasional awareness it’s in there. But none of this is really bothersome or as mind consuming as it seemed during initial recovery.

I think it comes down to how quickly you heal and adjust to a new normal. For me it was between 4-6 months when the constant awareness of the implant was replaced by a realization I was in a better place overall vs living with ED.
