Any Recommended ED Doctors in Central Florida?
Any Recommended ED Doctors in Central Florida? The Urologist I was seeing has left the area, the remaining Urologist (in that practice) has fairly good ratings, but prefers to have the Nurse Practitioners handle the ED cases. Their care seems at least acceptable, but I am 71 YO and the office staff is by far the worst I have ever seen. I've called and left messages that are not returned, I've literally waited on a ringing phone for more than 20 minutes with no answer, during business hours. Twice I've made the 1/2 hour trip for my appointment with a NP, only to be told she had to go home sick and was not available. Illness does sometime catch one by surprise, but checking my call register I see they did not call me to advise my appointment was cancelled. Checking online it seems EVERY PCP and INTERNIST claims to treat ED, so depending on what site I use there are 500-1000 ED doctors in the Orlando Area. My longtime PCP has taken another position and her replacement is new to the area, so I'm just not sure how well she knows the ED doctors in my area. Viagra, and Cialis don't work well enough anymore, TRT has brought my levels up nicely, and the pills do work better than they did, but the TRIMIX needs to be a stronger version or in larger doses for intercourse. So resetting my appointment for a month down the road- did not make me a happy camper.

Thanks for your suggestion, but at least at the moment I am not seeking an implant. I'm hopeful that a switch in Trimix formula, other meds, stem cell shots, shock wave or something else I haven't tried yet will be successful. I can have intercourse with an external splint (Stays Hard) and with my fiance on top we can go as long as she wants, but the plastic coating broke in less than a year.

Dr. Carrion is a urologist that is renowned for his implant ability. If you’re having to inject yourself to have decent erections why not go the implant route? My only regret about my implant is that I didn’t do it 10 years earlier

This is sort of an update. In the Orlando area most Urologist are either connected to Orlando Health or Advent. Doctor Bramlett who is actually located in Clermont Florida seems to be the Orlando Health Urologist Physician most focused on Sexual issues, and actually seems to handle most of the implants. I ended up seeing him for my penile doppler ultrasound, And he seems like an improvement over my current Urologist, but he is so far away. Based on Google maps the drive time to see him is just a bit shorter than the Drive time to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Does anyone know who the best ED doctors at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville would be? Or the best ED doctors in the Advent system?

By far I’d go see dr Carrion in Tampa. Usf health. One of the top implant Drs in the country. Speaking from experience after he did my revision and comes highly recommended from a Coloplast Rep and a friend of mine who is a nurse at Tampa general outpatient surgery. 1.5 hr drive to see the best.
