Need spoon fed on how to work this site

1) At the bottom of Home page it says you can delete a post. How ? I haven't found that yet
2) I know how use someone's post and "quote" them in mine . What I don't know how to do ( and have seen it done ) is use a partial quote . Where you're not copying the whole text, just the part you want to respond to , or add to . Thanks for the tutoring in advance

For the second part of your question, to do a partial quote, you start with the full quote and just manually delete out everything that you don't want to quote

From the FAQ:
Please note that normal users cannot delete a post once someone has replied.

If no one has replied, there will be an "X" button next to the edit button (pencil).

Ok ...another question. I noticed that the title of some posts have a little orange, rectangular symbol with an arrow (?) preceededi it , and other posts don't. What's that mean?

If you are referring to the topics list in the Implants board, if you hover over the icon you'll see "read first unread post". The orange color indicates there are unread posts and the arrow indicates that if you click on that icon it will take you to the first unread post in that topic.

You'll also note that once in the topic the unread posts have an orange rectangle icon.
