How bad was your erectile dysfunction when implanted?

I was 17/18 when my boner stopped working properly, I could get it with stimulation to full size but straight away when I would let go it would start getting soft.. I was 26 when I got the implant and I wish I got it at 20.. don’t give a shit about infections… it wasn’t working anyways!!!!

I'm 38y and suffer bad venous leakage, injections work almost every time, but when erection goes the penis is total empty like a bicycle inner rubber tire. Considering getting the implant soon...

Bad enough that the hurt of losing what little function I had (if the surgery failed) would hurt less than keeping what little function I had for the rest of my life.

I would do it again and knowing how successful the surgery was, a lot sooner, since the treatments I tried failed. But hindsight is always accurate. No way I could have known the treatments were doomed and the surgery bound to be successful. When the scales tipped in favor of implannt (hurt of losing weighed less than the hurt of enduring dysfunction) the decision was made and my only delay was to find a surgeon to do the operation-and get aurhorization.

My situation exactly. Could get an erection but couldn’t keep it. Meds no longer worked. Doctor suggested an implant in July 2022, and I had the surgery in August. I’m nine months in and my only regret is not doing it sooner. The implant has been even more than I could have hoped for.

I was 60 when I had the surgery. And there’s no question that I would do it again.

I was in a slightly different position to a lot on here as I still had very good natural erections but also a severe dorsal curvature which basically made intercourse impossible. I had stopped getting NTE so knew ED would follow so but the bullet and went bionic. I’m proud to be a bionic brother and see no shame in it.

Would 100% do it again, but not with my original surgeon; who implants you is so important!!

By the time I got my implant, I either couldn't get or stay hard for sex, even with a combination of pills and a cock ring.

I was 51 when I got my implant.

I'm 100% satisfied with it and absolutely would do it again.

And if I'd known about implants at 41, I would have done it then.

For me the pills worked pretty well but not every time but they made me sick for like a week after use. Adding that issue with the fact my wife doesn’t like sex made timing terrible. Ie take the pill and enjoy the love making or “ I changed my mind “ and suffer the side effects without the gains.
Getting the implant has saved me in so many ways and will do it again as needed even if it’s just for me.

You are about the same age as me, my doctor says that if you could delay the implantation time for 10years would be great. I live in Europe and the Health care would implantation when it's time for free but I can't effect the surgeon who do the job...

Mine pretty much after my first back surgery quit working. If it got fully hard it would then go limp, if it got to about 75% it would last maybe 15 minutes. Pills didn't work, vacuum pump didn't work, and Trimix was only thing that did work. I was taking the strongest that they compound and taking a huge dose just for it to maybe work and then when it did it wouldn't last but maybe 30 minutes. So for me there was no other option if I wanted to continue having sex with my wife.
