agree - my doctor explained difference between 18 LGX and 21 LGX. Its usually a decision made in the surgery. Generally prefers CX rather than LGX if 21 cm or longer. For those above 23 cm he prefers titan since bigger implantable portion and less rear tips to get the perfect fit. This all can be somewhat discussed and planned for prior to going under for the surgery.
Radical Prostatectomy in 2015; failed pills, straight to Coloplast Titan in 2019 by Dr. Valenzuela in NYC, Replaced with AMS 700 CX in 2022 by Dr. Darshan Patel in San Diego, CA. Wish I jumped to an implant even before prostate cancer!

Day # 8 post surgery.

I’m a side sleeper and I haven’t been able to sleep on my side since the surgery because everything just aches too much. So I haven’t really had a good nights sleep in over a week.

I took my first hot bath last night since surgery. My scrotum loosened up nice in the hot water and I could feel all the parts of the pump so I was like hey, let’s see if I can squeeze the bulb…. The answer was NO. It’s still way too damn hard.

Still have concerns about size loss. Listen I know I’m only 8 days post surgery and I shouldn’t be worried about my size at this point… but I am. I am hopeful to regain what I had.

My doctor chose the CX for me the day we had our first consultation. He did a quick look at my penis and stretched it out and said I would be getting a CX. His explanation was because with my length being on the longer side that a CX would provide for rigidity and give me the best erection.

Thanks for the info.

Day # 10 post surgery:

I feel like everything is going well. The one thing giving me trouble right now is my scrotum/pump. I find myself reaching down there constantly throughout the day to adjust it or scratch it. It’s pretty damn annoying. Besides that, I think I’m healing up fine….. I will say that my pubic area still has quite a “bulge” or lump from where I was implanted infrapubicly which you can see really well in one of the pictures below. Not sure when that is supposed to go away completely but it’s all good.

I am still over 2 weeks away from meeting with my doctor and activating my pump so I can begin cycling. I actually emailed him today to see if we could push it up a week so I can start cycling sooner so we shall wait and see.

I took a really long hot bath tonight and one thing I noticed is how everything down there just loosened up and wasn’t all so tight. That was very nice.

Another positive note. While being in the hot water I noticed my penis looked more plump, like it had some more life to it which was nice to see, so I grabbed the tailors tape and measured (I mean why wouldn’t i right?) and the results were very promising.

Keep in mind, I am only 25% inflated so I am able to grab my head and do somewhat of a “flaccid stretch” test. Either way, I hit somewhere in between 6.25 and 6.5! The longest length I’ve had since surgery…. I really do believe that EVEN THOUGH I HAVE THE CX, and it’s not know for any length expansion, that I will grow even more and get closer to my PRE-OP stretched flaccid of 7.5”
Not to mention all the accounts I’ve read of guys on here with a CX that have regained or even added length……. My girth around the base was even a bit thicker at a little over 5 inches (5.5 was my erect girth pre op.)

Anyways I’m feeling good and I hope that this log serves the next guy well that is looking for information on implants and literally gets on here and reads almost EVERY SINGLE THREAD on the forum. I hope I can help someone.

once your sutures are sufficiently healed, start using a VED, it will help you regain your lost size more quickly and I think will even encourage more girth expansion over time. Use it every day.

Thanks for the advice man. I actually have one ordered and on the way already.

I never asked my doctor if I could start using it before being activated.

Have you used a VED before you started officially cycling?

I would not use a VED unless fully inflated.
I'd be afraid of stretching the cock and pulling the tips out of the glans or the crus. :o
Age 59. AMS 700 LGX 21cm + 2cm RTE.
Peniscrotal, 2/23.
6.25" OEM with Cialis, about 5" post-op. (11/01: Length 6.75" and girth is up to 4.75" mid shaft.) Still growing, albeit slowly. :D
Cycling daily. Hoping to get to 7". ;)

Nonsense, I use the VED completely deflated, inflated, it doesn't matter. Unless you're poking those tubes with a needle, they're very hard to damage. a vacuum device isn't going to do anything to it. Just doesn't generate enough pressure. The tubes can't go anywhere but within the corpora, they're not going to come out of there and end up somewhere else. The only real risk of that is at the base where the incisions were and the tubes inserted during surgery and even then only if it didn't mend properly during healing. you'll see some guys have had their cylinders come out down there, but those are usually older guys with weaker internal tissues (not uncommon with age). Much less likely in a healthy 36 year old male.

No I cycled first several times, didn't put the VED on until the underside of my penis where the incision was located had healed well enough. Probably was a good 6 weeks for me til I started. since your incision is suprapubic I suspect you'll be able to use the VED sooner, but it may be sore as the base of the VED may come down right over that suture area. You'll have to play around with it and see.
You could get that hydromax one to try out first, I suspect it will be easier to tolerate since you use it in water/bathtub and the pressure it generates isn't as high as a traditional VED. The company I think produces the best VED's out there is LeLuv, on eBay. You can get different diameter pumps and lengths. I'm all the way up to a 2.25" diameter tube now on that one, although I've had some filler so I have a girthier penis, but it still has expanded over time with regular use.

Begging your pardon, I don't think it is complete nonsense. Here's my reasoning.

If you vaccuum your penis with the implant uninflated, you may (emphasis on "may") pull the distal tip of your tunica away from the distal tip of the implant. I do not know what danger, if any, that presents, but a void at that place would not be good if it stayed. Likewise along the sides of the implant tubes.

This is just a speculation, so take it as being cautious in the absence of clinical evidence.
