I'm a runner, marathon runner. Running is a big part of my life and I couldn't give it up.
Does anyone have experience of coexistence between penile implant and jogging?
Can the two things coexist?
Were any of you implanted guys able to continue their sporting activity peacefully?
Implants and running
Re: Implants and running
I'm interested in this too cause I want to start running again. I'm nowhere near your level but I used to jog 10km which was good enough for me, I can't even do 500metres now lol. Want to start again.
48. ED since decades. Pills hardly worked, never tried injections etc. Scheduled for surgery 4/7/2023.

Yes, on Tuesday just gone. When I said I can't do 500metres now it's cause of how unfit I am. Also obviously can't do anything cause only 4 days out from implant.

How Is your decours?
Good luck
Re: Implants and running
Like you, I was concerned that strenuous exercise might damage my implant. I asked my doctor whether my running, stair climbing at the gym, weightlifting, bicycling would be a problem, and he said no. Ten months after my surgery I’m doing everything I always did. No restrictions.
Implanted 8/23/22. Coloplast Titan 20cm, no RTE’s, infrapubic. Married 40 years.

Not a long distance runner, but i’m on the elliptical everyday :30+ minutes, sometimes high intensity. Also hitting it pretty hard in the gym again including squats. deadlifts, bench press, etc. Everything is fine.
6 months postop.
