You’re going to get a lot of variation here. Especially between penoscrotal and infrapubic guys. Some doctors use a nerve block to mitigate pain those first few days (mine did).
I never really had pain. Pressure, yes. Soreness, yes. (always manageable). walked gingerly for about a week and spent most of that time on my back, icing. After a week sitting was more uncomfortable than walking. At 4 weeks i began walking a mile daily, while still insisted. Between weeks 5-6, 3 miles walking daily.
Yeah mine was penoscrotal. Just today sitting and standing has been too much. Can't take it and just go lay back down again. Was just getting worried.
Campfire, I had penoscrotal and at 4 weeks my wife and I went to Austin, Tx for a few days at a resort. I could walk with her around lake Austin on the trails but it was sort of gingerly with Reebok sweat pants that had room for the three boys and my half inflated sore penis. I had to wear a long extra large T-Shirt so I wouldn't get any weird looks from the younger ladies on the trails. So at 4 weeks I would still have times when it was uncomfortable to sit in certain chairs and I would have to take Tylenol and Motrin combo to take care of the pain. It was pretty easy to overdue it at times. You'll get through this, it takes time.
Thanks SW. I think it got to me a bit today. I did a lot of reading before I had the implant but even though I did, you still panic a little at each stage you go through. And I have to be thankful for the fact that I do get ease when I'm lying on my back so there is at least one position where I am comfortable enough to cope.
