Had my 3 month checkup and demonstrated my dexterity difficulty squeezing my AMS pump bulb (I have cerebral palsy) The Dr pumped it up fine for me and said everything is working. I know it will become easier in time and use.
He explained that in 3 years clinical trials will start for a new Bluetooth enabled implant and I will be at the top of his list if his site is picked.
I'm starting to get better at pumping the bulb, building confidence and feels good to have a instant erection for as long as I want and she wants.

Re: Bluetooth implant coming
I've been hearing about the e-implants since I joined FT - surprised that they are still years away from introduction.
With hacking, AI, and god knows what else coming down the pike, I am sticking to analog for the remainder of my lifetime, lol. But to your point regarding CP - I can see how this technology will be amazing for people with diverse abilities.

Oh geez, another password to remember.
Seriously though, I can imagine that would be a tremendous help to anyone with dexterity issues.
Good luck.

Re: Bluetooth implant coming
My doc is working really closely with the development of the Bluetooth one. Apparently there will still be a way to manually pump if the Bluetooth isn't working for whatever reason. Boston Scientific is also apparently going to release larger, more durable cylinders than what's currently available for the AMS, but I don't know the timeline on that. A good thing, imo, because even in his words, the LGX cylinders are too "squirrely" after 15cm due to the material it's made with.
On top of other reasons, it's these developments with the AMS influencing why he chooses not to work with Coloplast and offer Titan. Coloplast will just never have the funding to develop things much better than what they currently have.

In the meantime, you might do waht some men have done. If you have a willing and able partner, you could have her pump you up.

Surely if they're trialling bluetooth capability that they would also consider a vibrate function? Sounds outrageous right? Think about this. How many of us on here either before implant or immediately after are anxious to the eyeballs of having a prosthetic penis? In reality though having a rock hard penis that never goes down should appeal more to a female than a natural one that does. That fact however doesn't always mitigate the anxiousness, because its just replicating what nature should be doing.
NOW, what about levelling up - Imagine having a conversation with a potential partner that your dick not only doesn't go down, but it vibrates....with different settings from 'Oh f......k' to 'You may call me Daddy'.
It might significantly reduce the time until the vinegar stroke, but it would be a fun 15 seconds...
I suppose with a Bluetooth pump you could pulse motor up and down to achieve the same thing? Hopefully the software is opensource so it can be hacked as required.
Active, athletic 63 years old. Sexually, still 33 in my mind and spirit. Pills and injections all worked, until they didn’t. Diagnosed with veinous leakage in 2022. Coloplast Titan. 22 CM. No RTE. Peno-scrotal. Implanted 1/4/23. Dr. Clavell.
Re: Bluetooth implant coming
Maybe four years ago I took a survey asking questions about a Bluetooth enabled implant. If it does make it to market I'd gladly be one to test it. My only concern is security, don't want to be out shopping and have some hacker inflate everyone. Or worse be in the middle of sex and get deflated. LOL
An app on my cell doesn't sound secure. A key fob maybe? I'd leave that with momma. Watching the game on TV and suddenly up it goes. Yes, momma is horny.

What does "squirrely" mean? And how would you charge the bluetooth device in your scrotum? I am kind of imagining that having a battery inside your body can't be super healthy?
Implanted October 11, 2024, Dr Karaman. Infla10 AX 20cm +1cm RTE.

Battery-powered pacemakers have been around for a long time. Don't require as much power as an implant would but technology advances all the time.

Charging could be similar to wireless charging your phone.
