I’ve been reading this forum for quite some time now. I’m 22 years old from the UK. I injured my penis doing jelqing like an idiot a year ago. Since then I’ve only been able to achieve a 70% erection max, this is while laying on my back. If I change position it fades very quickly and attempting to get an erection while standing is out of the question. There was also a thin dark vein that developed on the underside of my penis since I done this jelqing. I haven’t woken up with an erection in over a year and I have noticed my penis losing girth. I’ve tried 20mg cialis and 50mg viagra but they hardly improve my erection quality.

I decided to get it checked out with a private doctor who referred me to get a Doppler ultrasound and mri done. I was injected with 10mg caverject for the Doppler. I could only get to a 65% erection with this and it faded straight away. The person doing the Doppler told me that my blood flow going into my penis was good but I had too much outflow which makes sense as I can’t keep an erection. I meet with my doctor next week to discuss the results.

I am in very good shape and workout regularly, my problem is 100% not hormonal. My doctor also told me to get a blood test done which I will do even though I see it as a waste of time.

I wanted to get some advice from some younger people (under 40) who have gone through with this and what their experience with putting it to use has been like. I have read some guys complaining on here about their implants deflating during rough sex and that they have to pump it up again is this true for the majority of people with the implant or is that just a one off malfunction?

Given that I am from the UK, I will opt for the NHS route should I decide to go ahead with the implant. I’ve heard Dr Ralph is the best. Has anyone here had this procedure done with him?

Given my age I don’t want to have to deal with this problem for long. I also don’t want to go through the prime years of my life, where I could be developing myself, spending silly time researching different ways to cure ed. So far from what I’ve read pills injections and the implant are the only approved treatments. I get quite a lot of female attention so having this problem really frustrates me. Any feedback and advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

can u tell us what it is after u get the results from ur doctor.

On the other hand, you need to know that the implant would be something that you have to consider while performing any daily activities. Going to the gym, running, or playing sports. People with inflatable implants have reservoirs and pumps. You need to wear a tight underwear if you are running or jumping so that the pump doesn't move. Muscles around the reservoir should be dealt with carefully. We often hear here about reservoir pain or movement. I feel pain in the scrotum when I run and on the reservoir area when I perform some exercises. This is my personal experience and at my age and lifestyle, I am okay with it. I know that a lot of members here do not experience the same issues.
You can also get yourself informed about the malleable. I see that many members here are happy with it. Every implant technique has its pros and cons. Weigh them and take your time to make a decision that suits you.

To be honest that’s probably the main issue I’m facing with the implant alongside its relatively short lifespan. I do mma and workout often so I don’t want that to be affected by an implant. Would I be able to handle body shots where the reservoir is and will I be able to lift heavy in the gym without feeling pain in my abdomen? I know you’ve said you feel pain but is that true for the majority of cases?

I’ve read about the malleable and have pmd some people on this forum that have it, just waiting for their responses. The only problem with that is the large flaccid. Aside from that I’ve heard you won’t need a revision which sounds very promising.

Man I like sports too and workout everyday. I feel the implant will incapacitate me for lots of things. Idk if exaggerating lol.

I can imagine its too much information but please spend the time to research. Dr.Eid on you tube has answered probably all possible questions already.

I wouldn't be too worried about running, jumping and lifting after fully recovering, but taking a punch right to the reservoir or tubing could, I think, cause damage.
Talk to your doctor and make sure he understands the level of physical activity you're talking about.
Good luck.

I'm 64 and had an implant after prostate removal. It's the BEST decision I ever made. I'm in great physical shape, thin and muscular and I have no issues with doing anything I want exercise or sportswise. BTW, my wife of 43 years says jokingly that as soon as boys turn 18 they should get implants as a standard procedure, ha ha. She says that because now she always reaches orgasm and never has to be concerned with me going soft before she's satisfied. If you orgasm too soon you can just keep going as long as she and you want.
Good luck

I always encourage people who are suffering from ED to go for an implant rather than wasting time and money with Uros experimenting on you non-effective treatments, specially young men. But the fact that with an implant you may need to change your lifestyle and being not able to practice some of your preferred sports may affect my decision on which type of implant I have to go for.
A year or more ago, I had no information about malleables. I was only for 3-piece, but with the valuable posts of some of the members here who got them, I can see that it is a good solution, without forgetting the disadvantages of concealability and unrest of having a boner all the time.
Of course, everyone is different, and many of us (implanted men) didn't have to change their daily activities. having a clear vision about what different types of implants will provide you and discuss with your doctor, while letting him/her know your preferences.

I am in a similar boat. I workout 5 or more days a week ( which i am not to worried about later ) and i also do BJJ 3-4 times a week. I have been trying to search on here for anyone in MMA or BJJ who has got an implant to see how everything has worked out.

Honestly I would be pretty hesitant to do something like MMA with the implant. Id be afraid of hitting it wrong and damaging the implant, or slamming the tips against the inside of the glans, causing injury to the urethra or erosion inside the glans. Not to mention potential damage to the tubing which is fairly fragile. Regular working out and lifting weights is fine though.
