Hi folks, I had the operation 4 weeks ago and was supposed to see the surgeon but have been informed he has left the closest appointment is the 28th of September and the nurse can't answer any of my questions so I thought here might help :)

1) Can I try messing about with the implant without the supposed training as I have been left with the tube half filled.
2) I have been having sleepless nights due to the irritation between my legs, it could just be because I was shaved and the hair growing back but my testicles do feel bigger and maybe still swollen is this normal
3) When is it safe to have normal sex or is masturbation allowed

Hoping someone can help

Thanks
Rod

At 4 weeks you should be fine, work on deflation first. Inflation was easy for me, took a few trys to get the deflation down.

I was cleared for sex at 5 weeks, use your own judgement, how is your pain, if you start banging and it hurts bad… stop

I masterbated fine at 4 weeks but i stopped that because I wanted the main event to be amazing.

If your incision is all healed you should be fine, but at 4 weeks i am guessing when you pump to max you will have pain in the glands. Clavell had me cycling at 4 weeks, i had very little to no pain but when maxed out i had pain in the glands after about 5 min the first time. 7 weeks later i can max it out for an hour without issue.

Congratulations!!! Your almost done.

My doc had me wait 6 weeks. But your level of pain may be less than mine was.
I found sitting in a hot bath made deflating much easier.

Top advice. Learn how to deflate before you inflate. Inflating & not being able to release the pressure for a long time is miserable.

Hello Rod:
As stated on this forum it seems 5-6 weeks post-surgery for inflation/deflation cycling is the norm.
My personal advice would be to wait until scrotal swelling has subsided adequately to clearly identify the deflate button in the event the pain is too great during inflation. Being able to quickly locate and press the button will save you from having too much pain and anxiety. Sitting in a hot tub or shower helps immensely.
Hope this helps.

Congrats Rod! Listen to your body, it will tell you when you are ready to 'push or pull.'

You received great advice here from the brothers. Five weeks was a bit early for me to start cycling, I about passed out in the docs office when he started pumping me up. But it was just a week or two later that I started my cycling journey. As others have mentioned - the hot bath was key for me the first few times of cycling.

The hard part is done! Your surgery is complete, and you seem past the time for risk of infection or other problems, Take it easy, keep reading, and cycle, cycle when you feel you are ready (I fucked for the first time at 7 weeks - and it only got better from there :) ).
