Looks ok to me. The white stuff isn't pus, when a wound heals your body produces a whitish exudate type material of fibrin. I would look more for swelling underneath the incision and probably more redness to say if there was an infection and don't see that.

How ling it took your wound to heal? Dis your body get little warmer at some parts of the day, without fever also?

Took about 2-3 weeks. I used to get minor chills at times but not fever.

Mie looked similar and eventually opened up. Went back to my surgeon and was told it was not infected and to leave it open, I did as instructed and it healed up on it's own.
It is indeed scary but unless it starts getting worse I think you'll be fine. Infections scare us all and it's good to be concerned and see your surgeon. Best of luck and hope you enjoy your implant

Just spent 3 days in the hospital with a similar looking wound .. ended up not being infected ... but had to cut it open and inspect it .. said suture debris or hair follicle causing an issue ..

I was yesterday to my local urologist, she saw the incision she said it is still infected. I was sent to hospital where i got this surgery from. Surgeon who performed the surgeon is on holidays for next 3 weeks, so no chance he can have a look on it. His assosiates are young doctors, mostly have no experience in implants, they said you have only 2 days of antibiotics left, take them. They can see there is infection, but its not active, and they wont worry about it. My incision from day 7 till now getting worse. I am not sure what to do.

THe 2 urologist at the hospital said it is not active, so it will go away. It is not yet on the implant. If i get active infection I will have fever, more redness, more puss, and warm skin around incision + maybe fever.

In your opinion, or your experience is it possible that infection from incision can develop on implant?

Because i am really scared aboz explantation and revision. It is not easy for me to manage the pain, and suffering from the surgery again, if i would have known before the process, i would not have undergone the surgery, I am on sick leave from work fo 4 weeks, Just some weeks left till i get to work. As of now I can not think of anything but the infection.

They have done an ultrasound around the implant they could not find abcess under the skin.

Sorry to hear what you are going through now.
It is really scary for me, and not sure how doctors react to an apparent infection without trying to clear it? What will happen after you complete the 2 days remaining of antibiotics? If the infection didn't yet reach the implant, it will do that very soon if not treated. Why Aren't you prescribed an antibiotic ointment to stop the wound infection?

The urgent care you went to should also address the wound infection. It is not about the implant for them. It is like everyone doesn't want to take the responsibility.
This is the second negative experience with dr. Osmonov that I see here in less than 2 weeks.
I really feel bad that there is a simple issue that can be treated easily before it turns to a nightmare if infection reaches the implant. It will go towards a malleable for a couple of months to preserve size and then a new 3-piece implant.
As your doctor's facility and substitutes are not reacting to your concern, I suggest going back to urgent care and get some prescribe a topical antibiotic or a different oral one (maybe the current one isn't effective enough), to use asap.

They said it is on incision and it is not active. Apparently, there are not enough senior doctors in the hospital. No one has clue what to do in surgeons absence. They prescribed me yesterday, a gel which is antiseptic. I am not sure it will do something. Even in case of infection there is no backup surgeon who can replace the implant. So,it is what it is. 18 days on antibiotic is too much, should have done IV. They are also not sure about wound care, shall i leave it open shall i put plaster. It is a nightmare already.

Only advice from the doctor is stop antibiotocs after tomorrow wash wound with shower and put wound gel and wait couple of weeks....

I do not know what to do. I went to urgent care, waited 4 hrs in Hamburg. The doctor just wanted to check the blood, not the incision.
