Reservoir placement

I am not sure where my reservoir was originally placed, but as I have lost my belly fat, I found a straight line up the right side of my abbs. I have a pre-connected 700 lgx. It does not cause any pain but I had a tele-care call with Dr LoDoyle. He said no problem. It does not feel stretched at the pump but the pump was placed rather high because I have an AUS 800 pump that I have to access many times a day in my sack lower right. I can feel my reservoir up by my lungs on the right side. Just wonder if anyone has the same thing?

My reservoir is on the right side as well, the top is just below my belly button, bottom of it goes down a couple inches to my lower abs. Up by the lungs seems high but??? Dont know

I don't believe the reservoir can be preconnected to the pump.
I have no idea where my reservoir is, and I weigh 140 pounds now.

My reservoir is on the left side little up from the hernia mesh, but not as high as yours.

I'd be VERY surprised if you can feel your reservoir "up by your lungs". That might be something else entirely, and probably worth some investigation.

The only reason I know my reservoir is on the right as I'm looking down at my groin is because the Doctor pointed there when I asked him. Never had any pain, can't see or feel a thing. He did not point anywhere near my right lung.

On a pre-connected 700 lgx everything is connected at the factory. NO field splices to go bad. Also I can feel and see the tubing going up my body. At the end of the tube I can probe around with my fingers and find it.

...and no way for the surgeon to custom fit your implant to your body. This is probably why you can feel and see your tubing, and maybe why it feels like your reservoir is "up by your lungs". The pre-connection at the factory is not the feature you think it is.

Looks like your doc had to use 5cm of RTE to even get it close. I would have expected him to go to the 18cm and only add 2 cm of RTE, but he knows a lot more than I ever will about his reasoning and your body. Maybe all he had available was the 15cm and since the connections are all made at the factory did his best with what he had.

USC Keck has every size available. My cruses are so tough they would cause the injection needles to bend. Had to plung the needle in to the cruses then jab it through. The doctor didnt want any part of the tubing to be inside my cruses. Tri caused pain so I could feel my erection going clear back to my anus. I needed the 5cm RTE to get the tubing to exit right at my pubic bone. My inflatable part hangs right below my pubic bone when soft and I works very well.
