Get an implant now or keep using trimix

I used trimix 4 times, the first I barely felt any pain, but the last time, i felt a bit more pain and difficulty inserting the needle, could this be a sign of scar tissue? or maybe is caused i hit a vein?

I'm not in a relationship and at most I have sex once or twice a month. So technically, I could keep using trimix like that and possibly not have any scar tissue

but I haven't been in a relationship in over a decade. If I continue with trimix, it would have to be kept only for one-night stands or sex workers, as if I were to get into a relationship

first, she would have to know
second, I would have to use it more often, risking scarring and possibly quitting working

eventually, I'm gonna end up with the implant anyway

also dating chances are reduced the older you get

Yes, there is no going back from the implant, but the biggest risk is the inflatable failing, if it fails, I would just get the malleable and be done with it.

The malleable won't fail if sized properly by a high volume doctor, it has disadvantages and inconveniences that can be deal with, as this is the implant most implanted all around the world

If I wait till I'm 50 to have the implant it feel like a another decade lost, where im constantly single, barely having sex, not having a girlfriend, etc that sucks ass

nothing wrong with one night stands or even seeing an escorts, but sex is a big part of a relationship, i want to be with someone, i haven't had a girlfriend is so many years is absurd

without being able to sex frequently, you wont have a girlfriend or even a marriage

im not really interested in marriage, but i want a girlfriend, a partner, not just random sex here and there over the years

personally, I am kinda torn in my opinion for you. I found Trimix to be great but tricky and had to keep going up in strength till I hit 150 PGE.

Then I got the implant ,which was a nothing burger experience with dear Dr Eid, and he found a mess of scarring that probably only he and other high volume surgeons could get through (2 1/2 hour complicated surgery). That scarring was after only 8 months of injecting.

I love my implant -- I consider it a medical miracle. Great sex has been renewed -- I had thought cowgirl was strictly in the rear view mirror

So I guess I am now mostly in the camp that it doesn't have to be a last resort after injections have failed -- that if you don't like injecting and/or are worried about scarring, get one now.

Two-step - sorry I thought I had put no scaring, fixed it as I didn't have any.

Witheringhog - I stayed in Trimix until it pretty much wasn't working. When it worked it worked very well and I could deal with the planning on taking it, I'm married and don't have just random hookups so it was easy for me. But after awhile I had to take larger doses, and stronger mixes till I was taking the strongest they make and taking a huge dose for it to only work occasionally ( about 50/50 chance ) so the Dr agreed it was time I went on. If I was single and having a lot of sex with different ladies, then yes I probably would have tried for a implant much sooner than I did.

When it worked it worked very well and I could deal with the planning on taking it, I'm married and don't have just random hookups so it was easy for me. But after awhile I had to take larger doses, and stronger mixes till I was taking the strongest they make and taking a huge dose for it to only work occasionally ( about 50/50 chance ) so the Dr agreed it was time I went on. If I was single and having a lot of sex with different ladies, then yes I probably would have tried for a implant much sooner than I did.

An implant might not help you get married or to get a consistent sex life with a SO but it should stop the worries about ED. It’s totally your decision and if it would help your confidence a lot (which it will) it might just be time for you!
I got mine 15 months ago when I was 56 and been married 37 of those years to the same lady. ED was hell on my marriage and took 8-10 months before the implant helped fix those issues.. when you think it’s time you should have a set down with the best surgeon you can find and decide from there.

I had to have the first implant replaced because it had a hole in the left cylinder. Dr didn't see it at implant and nobody knows how it happened, he asked if I tried to use Trimix after implant and I told him no, I used the last a few days before surgery, plus I only inject on the right side near the base of the penis, not on the left side and definitely nowhere near the tip of the penis. He thinks it might have happened during prep in the backroom before they brought it out to implant ( possibly got nicked or hit by something and didn't rupture til after implant )
