Getting an implant when I turn 60

Postby TwoStep » Sun Aug 06, 2023 7:46 pm

Then I probably won’t need too many revision surgeries in my lifetime and I can likely escape infection and other serious complications.

So I only need injections to last me 30 years. Injecting once a week that’s 1500 injections which some others have done. Once a month would be 360 injections which plenty of people have done.

I got my Titan 15 years ago when I was 65. The procedure and recovery were problem free. I never used it (see my signature) but even so it quit working after 12 years. C'est la vie.

I would never suggest injections like Caverject. They are painful and it traumatizes your penis to where you start getting symptoms of pyronines, curvature of the penis. Three piece implant is the way to go. I am 80 now, but I had my first implant at 58 years old. I take good care of my body and most people think my age is around 60 and my sex drive is just as good now as it was when I was much younger. The LGX has worked perfect giving me girth and length which really amazes me how well it works. But getting back to injections, I would never ever recommend that.

RayChez, youve had implants the longest of anyone I've seen post on here. Has your penis changed over the decades you've had the implant? Other than revisions when the device breaks, any problems that come up over such a long time?

Yes I had failure on the first implant after fifteen years, the pump just stopped working. So I had a revision which lasted only ten months and again a different type of pump which was the ms pump also stopped working. So I went to a different surgeon and he told me that there were things he had to change on my implant and it was that on the first revision that surgeon had not pulled the cylinders in far enough into the glan, So he pulled the cylinders in about half an inch more to where the tips were like a quarter inch from the tip of the penis giving it cushioning and a natural feeling, he then added rte's at the base to give me the full length I always had had which was around eight inches. But I also noticed that the MS pump if you deflated it all the way that there is a tendency of the valve getting stuck which is panic time. Luckily I have managed to get the valve to break lose and it will work again, but I have found out that if you leave like two to four pumps of saline on the cylinders, you will never have a problem with the MS pump getting stuck. I would highly recommend the LGX to anybody because it gives you a natural feeling. I really like what I have and have never disappointed. I am eighty now and still going strong.

that's not every ones result from what i read on this forum on either matter . some have done injections for decades with no issues and others have 3 piece implants fail in 2 or 3 years . then need to have that fixed .some times 3 times .
i ordered some caverject out of curiosity to compare with cialis and will see how it goes .on the 3 piece i wouldn't want to risk it with the history of common failures , the upside is possible increase or recovery of size but the failure risk for me make it a no go .
maybe a malleable in the future if needed .
the thought of having a hard on 24/7 ready to go just made me chuckle the first time i read about them . just whip it out and its go time

Well ready to go every case is different I suppose. For me Carverject was just too painful sticking a small quarter inch needle on the side of my penis was just too painful. And sure it would give me an engorged penis, but it had for me like a burning sensation, seemed like I had inserted my penis in a bowl of hot chile. You have to carry a syringe with you all the time if you want to have sex at unexpected times.

Now as to the three piece implant. I have had three and I have loved every one of them. They make me feel like if I had my original normal penis. You can not go wrong with the three piece implant. I have had the Ultrex first, followed by the LGX. The LGX is an amazing implant and will give you girth and length. When done having sex you press the button once and stop it just before complete deflation and you will never have a valve problem. And I must be a grower because it has gotten much longer, was at seven and now is little over nine. Girth at 5.8 inches. It has been the perfect tool.

Now as to the malleable, it is fine if you have a short or small penis, but if you are over seven inches, it would be a big problem trying hide such lengths. Personally I would not want my penis to be that big all the time, to me it would be embarrassing. JMHO!
