I had a AMS cx implant back in January. All was going well as fas as recovery are concerned. But then on July 20 I had a total knee replacement. Was/is no fun. I ended up staying in the hospital longer than expected because my bladder shut down.
My question is, and I just started cycling again because my leg was killing me… am I likely to lose length/girth because of the stoppage?
I sure hope not.

Re: Knee surgery and cycling
Id say very unlikely to lose any from such a short break. However you may find that it is a little painful to cycle again. Take it easy and slowly stretch the tissue back out.
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

Steve5231, according to your dates, you should have had a good amount of time to do cycling before your knee replacement. If you were cycling on a regular basis each day according to what your doctor wanted you to do, you should have gained back before the surgical capsule formed around the implant tubes.
My doc, wanted me to cycle twice a day in the shower at least 20 minutes each time. I would take a shower inflated to the max and then I would shave with it still inflated. I started cycling at the 6 week mark.
I did extra cycling also, I would sit in a warm tub bath for 45 minutes to an hour, 3 times a week, while my wife did her morning walks. I would pump up to 70 percent and do penis stretching for around 5 minutes before I would pump up to the max and see how long I could stay at the max before I couldn't handle the pain.
I don't know what implant you have, I have the AMS 700 LGX.
All of us heal different and have different anatomies. It took me a good 5 to 6 months before I didn't have a lot of discomfort after being inflated to the max for an hour.
Now at 20 months out, I can go 1.5 hours inflated to the max with no pain.
I think you will do fine, just keep cycling.
P.S. I hope your knee rehab is going well, I had my left knee replaced 13 Feb 2023 and it is doing great now and I'm doing my right knee 3 Jan 2024.

Re: Knee surgery and cycling
Thank you for the info. Following the penile surgery and as soon as I was able I cycled for 1 hour a day. Then of course I stopped for the knee surgery and just now started cycling an hour a day. Hoping for the best. I have a AMS 700 cx.
At this point I don’t think I’d ever do another knee. Has been too painful.

Steve5231, yes it was a lot of pain and rehab, but it is really good now at 6 months out. It's good to have a straight leg now, I was pretty bow legged, because of the loss of cartilage, now my left knee is straight.
I understand about the pain and not really wanting to do it again, but I've been through the pain of rehab and I'm sure I can do it again. I want to get the right knee straight and no more walking pain and it clicks and pops a lot. The left knee had more damage because of torn ACL and lots more bone on bone.
I cycle a lot, so now my left leg since healing up is close to the frame of the bike and doesn't stick out like my right knee.
I did the knees now because of turning 65 with medicare kicking in and being able to travel and do more things.
I hope you change your mind about the other knee.
