Where is the Pump Supposed to Sit Exactly?

Postby Campfire » Mon Aug 07, 2023 7:03 am

Hey all,

As per the title, is the pump supposed to sit in front of the testicles or behind them? My one feels like it's slightly below and behind them. What is the ideal position?
48. ED since decades. Pills hardly worked, never tried injections etc. Scheduled for surgery 4/7/2023.

Speaking only of my 6 month post op titan xl--

Between the testicles--Roughly same height as testicles and free to move around like testicles.Does not seem secured in any way except attached to the tubing. I can move it to the front, but normally a little behind the testicles.

Mine sits below and behind. I have the titan original pump, i think placement has to do with the doctor used as well, i was implanted by Dr Clavell. Mine also is free moving side to side and in and out. It doesnt move up much as the tubing prevents that.

And mine is exactly the same as the two gents above.

Behind and below the original neighbors. Just forward of the perinium. Perfect.

Mine is in front of the boys. It is felt when sitting or biking but visible. You can easily see 3 testicles. This doesn't bother me.

Mine is slightly forward, but free to move around. It's just the way it naturally ends up, but it also tends to sit slightly sideways, with the bulb down and to the right and the deflate/pump block up and to the left.

My pump sits nice and low at the bottom of my scrotum below and between my testicles. The pump is below the deflate block. Perfect. My doctor told me to gently pull down on the pump from day one. Glad I did. I had the infrapubic surgery

Mine is above and to the right. I have had it for almost 7 years. I like where it is. Very much out of the way.

I’m only one week out today, but mine feels like it is sitting in the back behind my left nut and hurts like crazy. Is this normal? Will the pain subside and the pump eventually settle in the correct spot? I still have some swelling in my sack so hopefully it will settle.
48; Oral meds early 20s-mid 30s. Lots of side effects. Inject ever since, with 4 hrs or longer episodes of priapism. Thought was OK since they weren't longer. PD now. Logistics & pain of injecting have made me seriously consider an implant.
