Update
I've had multiple opportunities to test my bioni-cock throughout this past year, and in multiple instances I've been told "That was the best sex I've had in my entire life." I've had a vasectomy as well, and women love that I could cum inside and then keep on going until they tap out. In that sense, I wish I had this back when I was in college.

Now for the not so good news. - I have to get my pump replaced.

A few months back I started running into an issue where the saline won't stay trapped inside the cylinders during sex. My current partner is particularly tight, and often times within a few minutes I'll have to pump up again because the saline gets squeezed from the cylinders back into the resovoir. And once it has been partially deflated, I have to press the release button and let it fully deflate before I can start pumping again, otherwise it just continues to deflate with every squeeze of the bulb. This hasn't just been happening during sex, but also during cycling. If I fully inflate and then attempt to do the cycling exercise, the implant starts to deflate if I pull too hard in either direction. This is incredibly annoying because I regularly have to stop sex just to deflate and re-inflate.

I now have HMO insurance instead of PPO, so Dr Loh-Doyle is working with the insurance company to get approval for me to see him again. Based on my issues, he is recommending a pump replacement. However, he is recommending I hold off until the end of the year. According to him, Boston Scientific is releasing a new and improved pump this year for the AMS that may be worth waiting for.

Thats great news about the pump. And it would be great if they could make it a bit less bulky
Born 6/15/74. I have substantial venous leak with fairly severe hour-glassing, but no hard plaques. My urologist is sexual health expert Dr. Laurence Levine who performed a Doppler Ultrasound and diagnosed me with VL in 2020. I also have mild BPH

My Age: 31
Doctor: Jeffrey Loh-Doyle (KECK Medicine of USC)
Implant: AMS (I don't know what kind of AMS yet, but he prefers it over Coloplast)
Method: Infra-pubic

I think this may be a genetic thing since my dad ended up getting an implant after struggling with ED off and on throughout his life. I'm nervous to be undergoing surgery, but at the very least it confirms why pills and injections weren't working at all for me. I started thinking I might have some deep-seated psychological issue before the diagnosis, so at least that's one load off my mind.

This is who implanted me.
I actually found him on FT.(Thanks, guys)
Highly recommended.

Just do what he says.

Re: Removal and replacement of LGX to CX (Dr Loh-Doyle, USC)

Postby Blankloads69 » Mon Aug 07, 2023 4:57 pm

Just got confirmed that there's an issue with the pump. Dr Loh-Doyle can't say for sure what the issue is until he opens me up again, but the scheduler is going to contact me within a week for removal and replacement procedure.

He said that due to my active sexual activity and diligence in inflating it, he's probably going to swap the 15cm LGX with a 21cm CX potentially, which I'm guessing would mean shorter RTE's as well.

Glad to be getting this issue fixed soon, but the no sexual activity for 3 weeks after surgery is gonna be a bummer.

I believe it's because although he likes the LGX, my doc says the ones above 15 cm aren't great as far as durability is concerned, especially once you hit the 20+ cm mark. So a 15cm LGX with more RTE's seems to be preferable for him than a larger LGX with fewer RTE's. However, the expansion properties of the LGX are beneficial.

But now that I've had this one in for over a year, he wants to make the switch to larger cylinders but with a more durable CX, which would have shorter RTE's more than likely.

I think that you're reading too much into his post. He says that he has a 15cm implant now but he does not say how many rtes he has. Just because he hopes to get a 21cm CX does not mean that he currently has 6cm of rtes.
Duh, I should of read the threads title better. His rtes are in the title.

Blankloads69. I went back in your post history. Based on the rtes that you said that you got & the fact that you have an LGX. I'm betting that a 21cm CX with no rtes or perhaps even a little bit of rtes is very likely for you.
Hope you have the best of luck.

I was going to go to EID or Karpman in the Bay Area. There was No mention of Dr Boyd on FT. Had a consult with Karpman and he told me I had one of the best penis surgeons in the country right here in LA. I got a consult appointment with Boyd within a month. Told him I was considering going to EID ( because he is who everyone talked about here on FT). Dr Boyd said he and his students do more implants than EID and Kramer together. That is when I decided to Make his name known with my signature line. Dr LoDoyle was his student when I got mine. Both guys are down to earth and USC is the finest hospital in LA.
