Yes, that's why I said, only Belgian and Dutch people can get the discount. Normal price is 21k.

Can i contact you in private? As I am also considering doing surgery with him

Strange kind of logic; if the price for the majority of patients (i.e. Belgian and Dutch patients) is €8500,- then I would consider that the "normal" price...

Yes you can ask questions by PM, but maybe better ask questions publicly so others may benefit from it as well.

Not really, this is a discounted price subsidised by insurance or by the government. By your logic, Also in the US if you have insurance you can pay also 5k or less. So with this criteria everyone here would be posting subsidized prices and not out of pocket.

Also, 90%+ of users in this forum are not Dutch and not from Belgium. So 8500 is definitely not the normal price for this forum. Worth clarifying because most people here are international patients.

If the vast majorirty of patients (unlike the US) get the discounted price, that seems like the "normal" price to me, and 21k the exception.

If 10% of van Renterghem patients are Japanese would you consider sushi (sorry for the stereotype) the "normal" diet of his patients? Even if you would post on a Japanese forum, this would not make this the "normal" diet.

But enough, this is not a forum about semantics...

Sure, Since we are writing in English and this is not a Dutch forum, it's good to clarify the price for almost everyone in this forum will be 21k Euros (including myself).

This makes Dr Koenraad more expensive than Clavell and more expensive than majority of U.S doctors for anyone who does not have insurance.

That being said, I got a really good impression from him, he was very kind and seemed very knowledgeable in the video call I had with him. He really seemed experienced and had very appropriate answers for all my questions.

On top of that he claimed he can fix a curved penis during the surgery (which most doctors don't do). And he addressed some of my specific circumstances very well.

The only thing I am missing now is to find some of his previous patients to talk to, as, at least for me, this is critical to make a decision.

Dank u wel

We guys from Europe are really disadvantaged when it comes to penile implant surgeons. The ones who really put an effort in the field and specialise can be counted in one hand. I have only read 3 european surgeons in this forum. I hope more surgeons will choose to specialise in implants in the future because right now this is a dead field in Europe unlike USA where they have dozens of good surgeons.
Venous like since I was 20 years old. Pills don't work too well. Thinking of implant in the future

Yes he is. I ve seen mixed reviews about him so I don't know what to believe. But 24k seems to much for a european surgeon. If I had 24k I would just go to US and be implanted by Clavell or Hakky. They re even cheaper and you have only some extra travelling costs.

I had a bad experience with Antonini.
I had two surgeries with him that resulted in two failed implants in less than one year and also poor surgical results (cylinders not well placed inside the glans that caused it to be floppy, lots of rte, 4 cm, because he hasn't the implant of the right length for me, loss of girth and pain for lots of months after the surgery). Everything was fixed with a titan installed by Dr. Eid, now I am satisfied with the result!
