Fully inflated pain

Postby JohnHC » Thu Aug 10, 2023 10:00 am

I'm curious, when you are fully inflated, pumped up rock hard, do you get pain? How long before it starts? Where is it? And what is the feeling?

I get pain about 30 minutes or so after I fully inflate, it is more at the glans - not necessarily the tip but pretty much the whole end around the glans, and the feeling is more of a burning sensation than a sharp pain.

Those who've had the implant longer - how long did this continue for you before it started to subside or was it more of a one day you realized it didn't hurt anymore?

Yes just wondering as I'm really just starting on my journey as I'm only about 6 weeks out from my surgery of replacing the defective unit ( original surgery April 2023 with removal and replacement on June 22, 2023 due to hole/rupture in left cylinder )
AMS 700 CX 21cm x 12mm with 1.5cm RTE, MS pump, and Conceal Reservoir. Implanted on 4-12-2023 removed and replaced 6-22-23 with the same, 1st implant surgery had pinhole leak in left cylinder, second failure tubing at connector

JohnHC, S-Works here

I'm curious, when you are fully inflated, pumped up rock hard, do you get pain? Yes, I did a considerable amount past 20 minutes when fully inflated to the max, the first 6 months.
How long before it starts? At 6 weeks after about 20 minutes, 12 weeks after around 30 minutes Where is it? Mostly at the tip in my Glans and some in the shaft when I would deflate and squeeze all the saline out of the tubes.
And what is the feeling? I would say a stinging type pain, a lot of discomfort and I’d have to deflate because I couldn’t handle the pain.

I was worried that it wouldn’t get better but things got way better at the 6 month point.

Some guys don’t have this pain at all and they can leave it pumped to the max for hours and hours.

At 21 months out, I can leave it pumped to the max for 2 hours with very little discomfort the last 5 to 10 minutes.

Doc said pumped to the max in the shower, 20 minutes twice a day.

After reading a lot on Frank Talk, I also started doing warm baths. I would pump to about 70 or 80 percent and do bending, stretching exercise for about 5 minutes and then pump up to the max and see if I could go an hour without a lot of discomfort. For a long time I could barely reach 45 minutes.

I am only 3.5 months post op but so far I have a very similar story to Sworks. I haven't tried it yet but I think light VED might help because it hurts way more when my glands are not full of blood.

It was near 6 months before all that soreness and achy feeling went away for me. Then still had occasional ache here and there for a few more months depending on how vigorous it got used.
