Maximizing Length

Postby Deets842 » Sat Aug 19, 2023 6:45 pm

Implanted just over three weeks ago with the Coloplast Titan. All went well, though I was pretty sore, and I began cycling about a week ago. Girth is great--but length isn't quite as much as I had been hoping for, at least not yet. I'm hoping that daily cycling, losing some weight to help decrease my fat pad (area still swollen a bit after surgery) and doing Perito's #57 video "The Exercise" regularly in hopes of eventually adding some length. Still some tenderness and the pump has adhered to a spot on the inside of my scrotum. Have been told by my surgeon to keep taking the hot baths so it will eventually (hopefully) unstick itself from where it has attached and move freely. Two questions for the forum members: 1) Has anyone taken hot baths to free a stuck pump bulb that adhered inside their scrotum, and if so, how long did it take; and 2) how have you successfully added length, even an inch or two, and how long did that take? Thanks, in advance.

A small part of the inside of my scrotum was stuck to my pump. Every time I would cycle, it would sting and had a burning sensation at times. This went on for over a month until one day it just stopped. I don’t exactly remember when it happened, but it eventually did stop.

This is exactly what is happening to me.

Some people suggested gently tugging on the pump.

Just be cautious it's not an infection, pump adhering to skin can be a sign of infection.

If you get any ideas please let me know as well.

Thanks,

Three weeks? Do yourself a favor & quit worrying about length.

I’ve got an LGX and no two guys heal exactly alike. However….

At 3 weeks I still had a fair amount of pubic swelling. I had been shown how to inflate & deflate on day 3 or so but I was still too sore to cycle very much. I kept a brave face but I had lost a couple of inches. Just under 5”.

Then after about 6 weeks I had healed a lot more. Cycling got easier. I could see progress.

My pre-surgery erection was 6.85”. Measuring now in cm and converting to inches, I’m at 6.81” at 3 1/2 years. I don’t consider that a loss of size, I see .04” as a rounding error.

But yeah. From the 3 week mark to the 3 year mark I got 2” back. It was 2” I had before surgery. My doc was absolutely honest: you’re not going to be bigger. You may experience a little size loss. He wouldn’t know until he got in there. He promised to try and leave everything as close to how it was before surgery as was medically possible. He succeeded.

Three weeks? Oh hell no you’re not fully healed enough to even begin worrying.

Hey! Thanks for your sharing your experience and knowledge. Mine was Nov 17 2022 Coloplast Titan and my story is similar to yours. Pain and issues early on. Was so paranoid with pumping and it would not budge etc. Cycling and at 7 weeks began to use it. Took a few tries to settle in and today 9 months in, pumping couldn't be easier, a bit of length growth, girth growth continues and we are having the time of our life. Main thing is, after over 3 years ED, I am a very happy MAN again.

I’ve almost at 6 weeks post op and have been cycling for 3 weeks now and have not seen much growth. I’m still over an inch short from pre op.
I know people say not to worry, but it’s hard not to when thoughts creep in that maybe this is just your size or maybe you have been shorted?
Therefore, I know exactly how you feel.
We have no choice but to keep cycling and keep the faith.

Deets842 & Franklin22: I very strongly suggest that you reevaluate how you're pumping. I was pumping til the bulb wouldn't compress anymore. At my 3 month check up, my dr had me pump as much as I could. Said that I had done fairly good. He promptly got at least 2 more pumps in. Do not use your finger tips. You have more leverage the closer that you can get the bulb to the base of your fingers.
Even not using the best leverage method, I was 1/4" longer than my pre surgery stretch test. Now after learning a better pumping method I think there is more to gain. At least the new post pumping pain is telling me that.
Do not do any measuring early in your recovery or before you learn how to really get pumped correctly.

Thanks for the advice GT, I have upped the pressure on my cycling within the last week doing it for longer periods up to an hour mixing in some perrito exercises. Which I was only doing 20 minutes before with no perrito. I don’t think compressing the bulb is an issue I’m squeezing the hell out of it and am a pretty strong guy. I started out with like 17 pumps to max and can get like 32 in now. Not sure what that means ?
I have a consult with clavell on Friday I’m wondering if the fact he found a good bit of scar tissue during surgery could it have caused him to have to do something for it to be shorter?

Your strength isn't at issue. Its how you're able to generate more pressure on the bulb with the same strength.

"Your strength isn't at issue. Its how you're able to generate more pressure on the bulb with the same strength."

So you're saying that squeezing the bulb with more pressure might result in maximizing length?
