Anyone faced post-Implant pain like taking a bullet in the penis!

Postby str84wd » Fri Sep 01, 2023 8:21 am

Hello gents,

I’m on day day 13 and going through tough recovery while Dr said that surgery went well.

My question is about getting blood flow bursts similar to what happens during natural erection..anyone faced it? When this happen the pain literally feels like taking a bullet and wake me up from my sleep instantly and pain stay for sometime. I’m experiencing several bursts throughout the day but mostly when at night or when i’m trying to sleep. I used to get frequent morning wood or erect while sleeping so it feels that this is what is happening!

I spoke with my surgeon who said that this is not common and prescribed Clarinase Repetabs, an allergy med and one of its effect is to reduce the blood flow! I took it for 2 days and i still don’t see an improvement!

Anybody faced similar condition? Aware when will it go away?

Thanks

Sorry you're hurting. Not sure what you mean by blood flow spurts. If it's a zinger type pain that is nerves. The penile nerves take a beating during the surgery. It took me almost two months to have that kind of ache go away.
Medicines can take up to a week to realize any benefit. Once doc clears you to swim or bathe, a hot bath really eases any soreness down there. Most guys say the first couple of weeks are the toughest. Unfortunately, some of us don't heal as fast as others. It took me 4-5 months before there was no pain/soreness/ache.

I‘m on day 14 and when I have these bursts my glans and the whole Penis engorges just like before. However, I’m not feeling any pain just a little stretch along the cylinders.

It's a mix of of both I guess! I'm cleared to shower and been trying hott baths. I'm going to hang there hoping to pass the recovery phase

I used to get that kind of pain post cycling. When the glans would engorge and it would take almost 30-40 mins for pain to subside. This happened to me for about 2-3 weeks before it got better.

Evidently you still have some good blood flow in your penis! That’s a bad thing during recovery but, it will be a great thing after your thru the worst part of the recovery in that you’ll be getting great engorgement!! Sorry to hear about your struggles… time will heal and it will eventually get a lot better

Many thanks, glad to hear that its normal. True when bursts happens, the pain last for sometime and the worst when bursts keeps coming one after the other during sleeping!

Appreciate your response! Glad to hear as this is inline with the Dr. response who told me to wait as most of his patients complain pre surgery from low blood flow which is not the case and giving me medication to lower the flow in order to control the pain.
Will look forward to completing this phase and I hope that it turn to be something good and worth the pain later.
