How is your pain now? Anything now you want to say? How is your life now?
Re: Implanted with Rigicon Malleable implant (Rigi10H) in India.
Hi, I am from India. I got my implant on 18 September 2023, i.e 3 weeks ago from a surgeon 10km away from my home. I went alone for surgery and returned alone without anyone's help. I feel the pain and burning sensation is heavy. Taking some narcotic pain killer , Ultracet whenever there is pain. Nobody has given me proper knowledge including my surgeon about concealment. I am discovering ways to hide in a dignified way. So, far i am using a strap to keep the penis upwards. Its totally comfortable that way. I have one problem with the skin on the glans always getting pulled down and the exposed glans is getting brushed against my clothes causing me burning pain always and skin bulging from irritation. i don't know if it gets fixed over time. or else i have to find a way to cover my glans. I am ready to share pics of this issue. I am searching for cap like thing to put over the glans. For now i am wrapping the glans with a gauze pad and tape. A temporary fix so that i can be pain free being at office or going out. After two weeks my surgeon removed the sutures(No one has told me about this process including my surgeon). He asked me to apply Megaheal gel over the surgery part and cover it with Tegaderm and I have to do this 3 times a day. Th post-op care by the surgeon is disappointing. He left two broken parts of sutures still there. I think it is from carelessness. But he says he left them intentionally for some deep incisions recovery and would remove them in next visit(he didn't tell me when). I am afraid those broken parts of sutures will not come out if tissues develop around them. So, i am trying to check with any other local doctor for removal.
I will always be happy to share my experiences about this implant. I can even share my whatsApp number if you need.
1-which implant you chose?

Re: Implanted with Rigicon Malleable implant (Rigi10H) in India.
Hi Chintu
Thanks for the post. More experiences on malleables is always welcome. So, I have several questions:
(1) Which city do you live in?
(2) How did you find your doctor and decide to get it done with him (or her)? Is he a specialist in andrology and penile prosthetics? Did you look up other surgeons in other cities?
(3) Since how long have you had ED? What other treatments did you try before opting for the implant?
(4) Did you consider or explore any other malleable prosthesis options, such as Promedon Tube, ZSI 100, Tactra and of course the Shah implant? Why did you settle on the Rigi10?
(4) You have mentioned discomfort with the exposed glans rubbing against your undergarments, so I presume you are not circumcised? If you had been circumcised, I suppose you would be comfortable with the exposed glans already.
(5) Did you have to follow any specific protocols before surgery? How long did the surgery last and what about the immediate recovery? What type of anesthesia were you administered?
(6) Did you take measurements of your erect penis (length & girth) before the surgery? What are your measurements post-surgery?
(7) Post implant, does it feel like a natural erection to you when you see and feel your penis? Or does it feel just like two rods serving as scaffolds? Till where do the distal tips reach? How is your axial rigidity? There is no weakness at the hinge?
(8) What is your overall feeling about being always erect? Do you feel any pressure of th4e glans? Have you figured out how to "stow away" your penis when wearing clothes? How did you stow your penis before the surgery?
(9) Have you noticed any changes in the sensation in your penis -especially the glans- after the surgery?
I will reserve questions for actual use for later, once you are ready to use the implant for sex. I do not know whether you plan to tell your partner(s) that you are implanted, but even if you don't, you could still figure out how to get feedback from the partner(s), especially how comfortable and natural and enjoyable it was to them. Also whether there were any difficulties with any positions...but let's get to those questions later.
Thanks so much for taking your time to reply to these questions, and of course anything else you believe is important about the implant, the recover process etc. feel free to mention.

(1) Which city do you live in?
Hyderabad
(2) How did you find your doctor and decide to get it done with him (or her)? Is he a specialist in andrology and penile prosthetics? Did you look up other surgeons in other cities?
I consulted 4 other urologist before my surgeon. He is the only one who showed me all brands demo with accurate prices. So, I decided to go with him
(3) Since how long have you had ED? What other treatments did you try before opting for the implant?
One and half year with ED. Tried allopathy medicine, ayurvedic medicine and pshot. Nothing worked. It got decreasing day to day.
(4) Did you consider or explore any other malleable prosthesis options, such as Promedon Tube, ZSI 100, Tactra and of course the Shah implant? Why did you settle on the Rigi10?
I thought of Shah but seeing demo from my doctor, I understood shah is less hard and rigicon is very hard.
(4) You have mentioned discomfort with the exposed glans rubbing against your undergarments, so I presume you are not circumcised? If you had been circumcised, I suppose you would be comfortable with the exposed glans already.
If I am circumcised, the glans will be always exposed, right? Then how that will fix the problem? The sensitive part of the glans rubbing is causing the pain. Covering it will ease it.
(5) Did you have to follow any specific protocols before surgery? How long did the surgery last and what about the immediate recovery? What type of anesthesia were you administered?
I got surgical profile done. The surgery went for 3hrs. Spinal anesthesia. 4 hrs in ICU. 12hrs in private ward. Later discharge with urine pipe removed.
(6) Did you take measurements of your erect penis (length & girth) before the surgery? What are your measurements post-surgery?
Yes, the doctor measured.
(7) Post implant, does it feel like a natural erection to you when you see and feel your penis? Or does it feel just like two rods serving as scaffolds? Till where do the distal tips reach? How is your axial rigidity? There is no weakness at the hinge?
All good and feels natural. First few days felt unnatural like rods.
(8) What is your overall feeling about being always erect? Do you feel any pressure of th4e glans? Have you figured out how to "stow away" your penis when wearing clothes? How did you stow your penis before the surgery?
Being always erect is totally acceptably mentally and physically. I have to learn more ways to conceal and protect. For now a strap is working great. I need a cap for glans.
(9) Have you noticed any changes in the sensation in your penis -especially the glans- after the surgery?
No change in sensation.

Re: Implanted with Rigicon Malleable implant (Rigi10H) in India.
Thanks for all these answers Chintu.
I too live in India. I am wondering which surgeons you spoke to and your impressions of them? I have had video conferences with Vijayant Govind Gupta, Raman Tanwar, Joe Kaushik and Pramod Krishnappa. The latter seemed the most qualified in terms of his training (in the US, Spain and Serbia...all for prosthetic urology).
I guess you did not check out Tactra or Promedon Tube or ZSI 100? I am a bit confused about them so looking for feedback.
About being circumcised, what I mean to say was that it may be easier for people who already are circumcised (like myself) because we are already used to the glans rubbing against the undergarment.
You did not mention whether your pre-surgery girth and length and the same after surgery were any different?
Which strap are you using for concealing?
Do you feel that your surgery could have gone better in terms of sizing?
Are there any aspects at all that have left you dissatisfied?
And I am guessing that when you touch your penis -especially the shaft- it feels like a proper naturally erect penis and nothing artificial?
Thanks again

I met 5 local urologist in hyderabad. I can't tell the name of surgeon. I got from Apollo hospital.
I checked out Tactra, Shah and Rigicon.
So, you think I will get used to glans rubbing against clothes?
I am ok with length because he used the maximum size available 25cm but little disappointed with girth. It would be too early to judge the size done. The tissue and rods will move adjust over recovery. We have to wait atleast 3 months. I don't think I will be too much disappointed. I will be ok with current size or improved.
Which strap are you using for concealing?
Not particular name. It's a belt without buckle; ordered from Amazon.
I should have had some knowledge about girth. So that I could have been clear with my surgeon.
Not much disappointment. Because I see many people have more complex issues post op. I am atleast better than most others.
Yes, when i touch my penis -especially the shaft- it feels like a proper naturally erect penis and nothing artificial.
Feel free to ask if you still have any doubts. You can even contact me directly.

Re: Implanted with Rigicon Malleable implant (Rigi10H) in India.
Thanks once again Chintu. It is much appreciated that you have taken the time to reply to these questions.
Your replies have made me wonder why you did not consult some of the better-known prosthetic urologists and high-volume implanters in India, many of whom have a presence on social media, such as:
Vijayant Govinda Gupta (Delhi)
Gautam Banga (Delhi)
Ashish Sabharwal (Delhi)
Raman Tanwar (Delhi)
Rupin Shah (Mumbai)
Priyank Kothari (Mumbai)
Pramod Krishnappa (Bangalore)
Sriharsha Ajjur (Bangalore)
Joe Kaushik (Nagercoil)
Also, why did you not explore ZSI 100 and Promedon Tube? These are both supposed to be very good malleable implants, with rigidity comparable to the Tactra and with silicone covering which is very advanced to make the penis feel natural? Also, they have hydrophilic coating and the Tube has been around for 20 years so there is a lot of data on its performance.
Of course, you will get used to the glans being exposed. As someone who is circumcised, I can tell you that it is perfectly normal (as in one does not notice): just as one stops feeling the clothes one is wearing, the same goes for the underwear rubbing against the exposed glans.
Before surgery, did you not have an artificial erection induced by the surgeon to assess your "natural" length and girth? Because the aim of the implant is to restore those sizes....then you would know whether 11 mm or 13 mm was the right thickness for you.
A few more questions:
(1) How is the axial rigidity at present? At what point does it start bending or buckling?
(2) Do the distal tips hurt when they press into the glans when you test for axial rigidity?
(3) What about being able to bend to conceal the penis? Are there certain positions that work better for you?
(4) What about masturbation? Have you tried it with the implant or not yet? How has it gone in terms of orgasm and ejaculation?
Thanks
