How soon can I start taking Cialis?

Preop I would take Cialis daily. Aside from helping with erections, it would help with circulation and blood flow to my flaccid penis.
Are there benefits to taking it postop to help with blood flow and healing to the area (even if not having sex)?

I started taking cialis right after surgery (20mg every other day sometimes everyday) Dr. Hakky thought it was a great idea. Although ancedotal I believe it helped shorten my recovery time and helped recovery time.

I used cialis daily and double up on sex days for many years prior to implant and within 2-3 weeks I started taking 5mg daily again and seemed to help engorgement. After a few months I was getting very good engorgement, even better than pre surgery on all the meds. So a few weeks ago I ran out of cialis and just wanted to see what would happen. About the 3 rd day after I quit I noticed upon inflation without excitement my dick was extremely oval with no shape on top or bottom… felt very strange. So hot as stimulated as I could on my on and got maybe 1/2 or a 1/3rd of my usual roundness. As soon as I could get my pharmacy to compound me 30/20mg trocies wasn’t soon enough! After taking a full 20 first day and continuing with my 5mg daily all is back to normal…. Which is very round and full glans… not an experience I want to have again.
