Stop size loss with implant?

Postby SwedishDave » Fri Sep 15, 2023 6:16 pm

I know i should ask the surgeon about this and not you guys, but i’d just like as many opinions as possible.

I have a case of mild non plaque peyronies, where i have small scar tissues allover my shaft that get inflamed everytime i have sex. My dick is getting a few % smaller every year and its very distressing. No girl can touch it and i cant go wild during sex, i masturbate the head with 2 fingers and cannot use my whole hand.

But i still get very good erections....Should i just wait and let my dick get smaller and smaller and have constant anxiery or should i go for an implant?

Hate this fucking situation...
30 YO,

Hourglass peyronies from stretching. Losing girth.
Several small circumferential fibrosises. Sex and masturbation makes it worse.

Based on your signature block you've still got good size. Personally I would try to push the implant off longer. It does sound like your situation is very stressful and not an easy decision

I suggest trying to find a solution less destructive than an implant. If you don't have a urologist well-versed in your particular condition, find one. Ask your current physician for recommendations. Take notes on everything he/she has told you. Research the medical terms (in legitimate peer-reviews medical journals) and educate yourself. You are your best advocate.

An implant is irreversible and if there is anything less destructive, you should try it. Only get an implant if you have nothing i your current state you would regret losing if the implant failed. (My rule of thumb - others may a different thresholds for this decision).

You may be able to hold off shrinkage by use of a vacuum erection device to keep your penis tissues elastic, stretched out and flushed with good blood.

i had fibrosis all over my penis..it always hurt even when it was at rest..after sex it was sharp pain all day..i got an implant..doctor cut all my fibrosis fixed the curve ..I'm 30 days out ..I've been inflated for 28 days and started cycling..all the pain is gone..when I inflate to the max my girth is almost as much as it was before fibrosis...the length still 1, 5 pills lower but I've only been pedaling for 2 days I'm confident I'll recover everything.. but the most important thing is that those annoying pains have gone away.. now I'm mentally much more relaxed.. before I was nervous all day with the whole world

Using a VED does not work for me but rather makes it worse. Its so sad to have to be conservative with sex at my age when id rather just fuck everything that moves. I look pretty good too. Dont want a relationship but now im looking for one just because of my dick issues. Feels wrong…

There are drug treatments for peyronies that a good dr could give you. I think that I've heard of Verapamil being prescribe for peyronies. But remember, an implant is considered the gold standard for peyronies treatment. An implant is used to treat peyronies or ED. Ok, so you don't have severe ED. But it sounds like you have pretty severe peyronies but with no curvature. An implant is still considered an appropriate treatment for peyronies alone. That would stop the size loss from peyronies diasease.

My peyronies is such that you can barely see it when erected. Looks like a normal dick. But if you knew how it looked before then you’d know somethings up. If i could freeze the size like this id be totally fine. Lost around 10-15% of the total volume. But its the fact that its progressing that distresses me. If i act now then i could spare some size. Im most worried about my length since girth can be added by implant and filler.

Dont want to wait for the dick to become shit before i act. But it also feels wrong to implant a dick that you can barely see has peyronies..,

Sex is filled with anxiety and its a small sacrifice everytime.

Im scared of erosion aswell. If i did the implant and it turned out bad i would regret it. Compared to people with ED and a completely non functioning dick.

Hehe my name should tell you which country i live in. Id have to spend 30k for clavell to fix me up. Gonna have a consultation with him when i get the chance but your opinions matter a lot to me aswell

SwedishDave, I suspected your country. My concern was if you was using translation software. Sometimes the software doesn't get the American version of English correct. So I try to avoid unique American phrases if software is involved.
My wife was born to European immigrants. She is fluent in their native language. We've visited several times. The English spoken there is British based & it does vary from American English. Ours is influenced by over 200 years of absorbing immigrants from around the world.
I met a young man last year that had just spent a year studing in Sweden. I asked how that was since he didn't speak Swedish. He said where he was most people seemed to speak a lot of English between them. So he didn't have any trouble at all.
Ok, enough. My point is that this is mainly an ED forum. So everyone is thinking ED. But I've read of members that got an implant mainly because of peyronies. I think I read on Wikipedia that an implant is the "gold standard" for peyronies treatment. Trouble is that some diseases are progessive. Meaning that once started they continue to get worse. Diabetes is also a progressive diasease.
So in my opinion, even if your peyronies is bearable right now. It will continue to worsen. That means a high chance of length, girth loss & probably curvature.
I guess a good question to ask is your doctor offering a treatment for your peyronies? I mentioned Verapamil because I've seen it mentioned here before. It surprised me because I took it for awhile as a a mild high blood pressure medicine. It wasn't strong enough for me.
Are any doctors performing implants in Sweden?
Just a pushy Americans opinion. I wish you luck.
