Several members here talk about cycling. So I just got out my drs cycling instructions. Mind you, this can be very flexible depending on the patient.
The weeks stated are from after the first nurse follow up. He operates on Mondays, she teaches on Wednesdays. They use a pretty ridgid weeky schedule so cycling class is actually at 10 days.

1st week: inflate & immediately deflate once a day.

2nd week: inflate to max. Wait for 5 mintes then deflate, twice a day.

3-5 weeks: inflate to max. Wait for 20 minutes then deflate, twice a day.

Sex at 6 weeks. Inflate to max daily for the next 6 months. Hold for 10-15 minutes then deflate. He does have a note that defines max inflation. "Mild stretch or mild discomfort ". In my case, I seldom feel glans discomfort. I do get shaft discomfort on occasion. So at close to 5 months I inflate to max. Every few minutes I'll try to add a partial pump. I use a VED 1 or 2 times a week at 5 inHg. If I'm in the mood, I'll try adding a partial pump.
Following the drs instructions, I was .5cm longer than my stretched penis test at my 3 month dr follow up.

Please remember that the weeks quoted are from the first visit. Not the actual surgery date. So add 1 to each number.
At the first nurses visit. She felt my penis & quickly assessed that the tips were in my glans correctly. Ie I had a good outcome. This nurse assesses 1 to 4 implants per week. She is quick & good at it. We went over pumping & deflating. She could find the release button better than me. I did make arrangements to get a follow up on the next Wednesday. So off I go to practice with my implant. At first I was only getting 2-3 pumps in. At the second visit she said when the pump gets hard to just keep giving it rapid small squeezes. If full squeezes aren't possible. This small pulsing will stiil move saline.
At 3 months I saw the dr. He showed me a better finger posion that applies more leverage on the bulb. As things got stretched out more & using the better pumping method. I could get up around 25 pumps in. Strangely, my pump started to get more flexible. So I was moving more saline per squeeze. Now I'm maxing out at under 20 pumps. I do not generally squeeze my implant empty. Even the CX can get dog ears & I don't like it. I just let it drain at its own pace. Hey, thats how it behaved after sex when I was young.
This is only my dr with my CX. It seems each dr has his favorite system. I'm a bit puzzled by some reports of pain farther out than a few weeks. My pumping didn't involve pain even early on. Oh wait, for the first week or two I did take an ibuprofen before pumping. I did use a heating pads also early on. It really loosens your scrotum. I also will move my pump a little bit to get a new spot of skin if a spot gets tender.
Keep at it & develope your own system.
