Flaccid Penis after implant

My flaccid Penis is about 4 1/2" long and erect penis is about 6 3/4" long. How much can I expect to gain with an AMS implant in the flaccid state?

My reason for asking is after my RP surgery I wear light pee pads for leakage and the penis is facing downward with underwear on. I'm wondering if I will still be able to use pee pads after the AMS implant.

Will your implant be the AMS CX or the AMS LGX?

In either case, with a good surgeon, your erect penis should be the same as before the implant. (When was the last time you were able to measure an erection? Prostatectomy often results in loss of erection.) So, get an erection as best you can currently and measure it. A CX (by what I have read) will have your flaccid penis be closer to that size than the LGX, since the LGX shortens upon deflation.

AMS has two different implants. The flacid won't be the same between them.
Perhaps as a data point. At my 3 month checkup. My erection was about .5cm longer than my penis stretch test.
You say erect length like you're getting erections. If your getting erections then why get an implant?
Could your erection actually be in a VED? A VED measurement doesn't reflect what your real erection will be very well.

My doctor says he only implants AMS he didn't specify which model.

My penis stretched is about 7" to 7.2" bone pressed and the best erection I can get using Quadmix (40-4-20-.4) is 6 5/8", which is not erect enough for penetration, I use a "Stay-Hard" device for penetration.

I get no erections at all, when I use Quadmix (40-4-20-.4) I get somewhere between 75% to 80% hard and use the Stay-Hard device. My doctor (Dr, Paul Knoll) has recommended an implant.

At first wearing pee pads may be uncomfortable. But at first most anything you wear can be that way. I had to wear a diaper after bladder treatments recently. No problem.

Not sure if unique, but my flaccid length is slightly longer than my erect length. When inflated the penis gets much wider and pulls back about one cm.

Let me give you my data points as a good set of numbers for someone with an LGX.

I think they’re good numbers because:
Before surgery I had a grower cock.
I had an uncomplicated surgery, rapid and routine recovery, and I am very satisfied with outcome.
I was in that big category of guys with a normal sized cock-it might have been a bit bigger than average but it was a long way from huge.

Before surgery: 3.75” long flaccid, 5” girth flaccid
6.85” long erect, 6” girth erect

After surgery: 5.5” long flaccid, 5” girth flaccid
6.81” long erect, 5.62” girth erect

So, with the AMS LGX I am still a grower, but not by anywhere near as much.

Some rough & dirty math for you: a good high volume surgeon is going to put you back to where you started (erect) but it might take you a year to get there. Any lost size due to implant will be small in an uncomplicated case, 0.25 inches or so. Depending on the LGX MODEL (they come in 15, 18, and 21 cm plus whatever RTEs they need to size you but only the implant part expands) they gain from 1” to 1.5” of length inflated.

So, if you’re 6.75. Let’s say you lose a tenth of an inch due to the surgery. That puts you at 6.65” (call it 6 5/8”). You’ve got the LGX. You can expect a flaccid roughly 5 1/8” to 5 3/8” in length. This is not perfect science so you shouldn’t freak if you end up anywhere between 5” and 5 7/8”.

And that’s with the LGX. Other models don’t increase in length when inflated the same way, so if you’re 6 3/4” and they leave you 6 5/8” after surgery, you’re gonna be pretty damned close to 6 5/8” both flaccid & erect.
