Can a bulge work against you?

Guys with big dicks and small dicks have been hooking up for millennia. If only big dick guys could attract mates then natural selection would have eliminated small guys from the gene pool long ago.

At 5 1/2” i’m told by both stats and my doctor (Clavell) that i’m perfectly average in size.

This perfectly average, formerly a grower-now-a-shower dick has gotten enough action in my 64 years for a few lifetimes. Never a complaint about size (to my face anyway).

Sure. i like my Titan bulge (btw, there’s been a number of posts here about Titans being for larger guys. Again, i’m 5 1/2” and my Titan works like a champ and makes me hard as a railroad spike if i do choose. Sexually nothing off-limits)

But the bulge…it’s a blip in the radar of what makes men desirable. I guess there’s a few size queens out there that are the exception, but personally i’ve never felt excluded during my former grower days.

Maybe it helps that i’m simply well-groomed, polite and respectful, attentive to what they say and do and focused on pleasing them, basic seduction, while keeping my own desires somewhat muted until that switch of arousal gets turned on. Then it’s game on.

Bulging never has been a factor. That said, i like my bulge now, very much.

The truism, "First impressions count for a lot." may apply here. The first step to seducing a woman is to get her to notice you. A very tiny quickening of her pulse can be parlayed into an introduction, into a conversation, into a flirtation. If a bulge (or a flashy tie or other instant pop) gets her attention even before you can open your mouth for your witty opening line, so much the better that it gets you to the head of the line of other men in the room.

Never underestimate the blip. Without something like that, she may never even hear your opening pitch.

I not sure how a (reasonable) bulge could work against you. I’m sure there are some prudes on dating apps who are just looking for someone to share the expense and chores of life. Seems to me that women who derive a negative vibe from a man’s bulge are probably that type of women. Likely someone who wouldn’t be much fun and you wouldn’t be interested in pursuing anyway.
