Trimix program cost in Calgary, CAnada

Postby chetanisthick » Thu Oct 05, 2023 5:29 pm

Hello all

A new member here. 51 year old diabetic for the past 23 years. Cialis/Viagra dont work after working for a few years. General physician gave referral to urologist who hasnt called back-waiting for over 3 months. Wondering if I should try private clinic (Precision) in Calgary. Has any one tried these clinics and what is the experience and cost?

I live in AB but in YEG. I would start out with bimix first then progress to trimix or quad mix. I work at a private clinic that specialize in male TRT and sexual health/function. (ReGenesis Alberta).
Your question is not so easily answered because there are different strengths of each medication. The strength influences the cost, And you also have to determine how much/dose is required for you personally which will then determine how fast/long the prescription will last you. Essentially, the more dose of the med you need the faster you will go through the medication which will result in you needing it more often which will influence how much the cost would be a month, or 3 months or 6 months. On top of the erectile injectable med, you’d also need another injectable med to counter act the mono/bi/tri/quad mix if you were to have an erection for over 4 hrs.
I use bimix at 4cc per injection from a 10ml vial. Its lasts me 4-6 months which costs I think just under 100$ CDN. The counter medication for if you have an erection over 4-5hrs is under 20$. You get 8 injections at 2.5ml per injection. So over the span of a yr it would cost me 240$ CDN.
A lot cheaper than buying pills with better results.
If your family MP is good they can write (or fill out the coverage form) your rx provider to cover the medication.
I have a health care spending account so in reality I claim the rx under that. So there is no cost to me.
The clinic I work at also has a branch in Calgary. (ReGenesis Alberta). I have clients in Calgary who I treat and follow up with via video conference appointments/consultations.
PM me for details or visit the website.
Cheers.
43yo Canadian with S1 S2 L5 L4 back injury, surgery left me with ED issues 12yrs. Been on a wait list for an implant for over 3 yr and still counting. The pandemic has created a backlog where I live and I was recently told I have a 9-12mo wait still.

In Ontario I paid like $190 for a 5ml vial. But i needed 40ccs so it didnt last long. I wanted to get an implant in Ontario, 2 year wait list. So I went to a private clinic in Quebec and I'm getting the surgery next month!
Implanted Nov 1 2023. Penoscrotal. Ams 700 LGX. 100 CC reservoir.

Hi Boy_sparky

Thanks for your reply here and to my PM as well. I went to the website and it talks about Program enrolment fee. Is this applicable to all including injection users?

Yes. As I mentioned in your PM. Without knowing your medical history, the results of your assessment and lab results, I cannot give you precise details and if there are any contraindications for your treatment protocol or treatment plan that would be developed. Your best course of action is to call the clinic directly and ask questions.
As I mentioned in the PM, you can also YouTube/google all the information discussed in the PM, educate yourself to become more informed so that you can learn. Also read the topics in the injections section of this forum. There is so much useful and important information out there free to access. It will take time and effort on your part.
