Penis red raw after sex. Help.

Been around the block with this issue. GPs, Urologists, GUM clinic... now a dermatologist is telling me its my "new normal" due to my implant.

The glans, foreskin and shaft all go bright red and inflamed after about 5 mins of sex or masturbation. Then it calms down once I stop. This starting happening as soon as I got the implant and has never subsided. Looks to be here for good.

Only thing the dermatologist could think of was that the skin doesnt like being in its new stretched state full time and is getting irritated.

Anyone heard of anything like this or know what might be the issue?

Honestly, I have had SEVEN different Drs and they are just shrugging their shoulders. I am out of options now.

Don't worry bro. If you think the skin is irritated, it should be the case for all others as well. I can say it's your outer skin is sensitive. I have sensitive skin on my face. So, it's the exterior condition of your dick skin. It will get normal over time. You can try moisturizer regularly.

I do have very sensitive skin on face etc. But never on my penis. The problem is that I dont think it will get better over time as I've tried every cream, ointment, lube and moisturizer there is and nothing has changed... its been well over a year at this point. It's worse if anything.

Very distressing... im sure the universe is conspiring against me!

We have just gone on the assumption that it's 'balanitis'. When I told him i was being advised I needed a circumcision to fix it he said i should get a second opinion as it should be treatable with something. Now im being told 'there is nothing to treat', so I've messaged him to see if any other patients have ever had this issue. No response right now.

I am asking on here cos its clear this a very rare case. Being told there is 'nothing to treat' and its my 'new normal' is terrifying. I dont like posting on here cos I am a hypochondriac and I dont like getting everyones two cents on what could be happening - it generally makes me more anxious. But I am sure this is nothing sinister so please give me your two cents! Haha.

I am even considering 'down sizing' to the AMS ... if its caused by the constantly stretched skin (i can even see small stretch marks on my penis), then maybe getting my old flaccid back will help??

The skin on your glans AND inside your mouth are the same because they are always covered according to my dermatologist. I have a allergy to something in Levofloxin ( a antibiotic doctors like for lung ailments). Upon taking it my skin on my glans and inside of my mouth shredded off and bled. After finding the cause of the bleeding and stopping the use of Levofloxin, it took 3 years to fully heal. My GP and urologist had no clue of what was going on. My dermatologist found the cause. Just saying, look for more than what is obvious.

After my implant my shaft would feel like it was sunburned or the skin had been ripped off. I believe that was due to the antibiotic used on the implant cylinders. Always got worse after sex and inflating. It was terrible for about 4-5 months then eased away. Why you continue to have symptoms almost 2 years out is strange. Possibly a medicine you take causes it. My solution to ease my problem was Aspercream. A small dab smeared along my shaft kept me feeling good for 6-8 hours.
Hope some doctor is smart enough to help you.

3 years, holy shit! I am thinking that cos it happened as soon as I got implanted, its gonna be the implant stretching the skin rather than something external. If It was gonna be 3 years to get used to it, i could hold out another year. I am just worried it might never go away.

Thank you for this. That is really interesting about the antibiotic coating! Never thought of it. Did it seep into the top layer of the skin... did they say it is a known thing? I will look at the cream.

Jump ship, I don't want to assume anything, but how hard are you inflating? If you're really pushing 100% try deflating a little, if this doesn't apply to your situation, I'm sorry, just my $.02.

If this started right after the implant, and you haven't changed anything else, then I would say it's implant related somehow.

How long has it been since you got your implant? Possibly an allergic reaction to the implant itself when inflated. Have you tried masturbating at only 40-50% inflation, if so what happened?

Please don't beat me up for any dumb suggestions, I 'm just grasping at straws trying to help, I wish you well.
