Yes, the cylinders are washed in an antibiotic coating before inserting them into you. It seemed to penetrate to the outer layer although it left no sign of irritation, no redness.

I think that the AMS are coated. Titans have a slightly absorbent layer so that the dr can soak the implant in his favorite antibiotic fluid.
If your signature line is correct? You're approaching 1 year with your implant. Any coating on it should be gone by now.
I know that this might sound silly. If it is an allergic reaction? I'd suggest taking an antihistamine to see if that might knock the reaction back some.

Jump ship, I don't want to assume anything, but how hard are you inflating? If you're really pushing 100% try deflating a little, if this doesn't apply to your situation, I'm sorry, just my $.02.

If this started right after the implant, and you haven't changed anything else, then I would say it's implant related somehow.

How long has it been since you got your implant? Possibly an allergic reaction to the implant itself when inflated. Have you tried masturbating at only 40-50% inflation, if so what happened?

Please don't beat me up for any dumb suggestions, I 'm just grasping at straws trying to help, I wish you well.

This Jan it will have been two years. I have experimented with it deflated a little. Maybe I should do it completely deflated to test it. This could be somehow linked cos I cant actually inflate it 100% as its too sore. I get pain at the base of the shaft... as if the implant is too thick. But I need to experiment more on inflation levels perhaps as any workaround would be welcome.

I also notice that if i get a blowjob it doesnt really get inflamed cos the mouth is soft i guess!

Ok so people have had that. I think cos im two years out almost and that its not an issue outside of sex that its not related to the coating. Regarding the cream, I would need something to put on while having sex to stop it becoming inflamed, not day to day so much. Interesting though.

I am approaching two years. And yes i dont think its the coating then either now cos of that. An allergy - but it only comes on after friction is applied so im thinking its not? It looks like an allergy though - an allergy or some awful STI - not very attractive.

No. It happens even during solo masturbating in the early days before i ever had sex with someone with the implant. I am also single. I should note that I sleep with men and women, mostly men. It does not always involve penetration. Like I say oral is easy on it. But someone using their hand is a no go cos it flares up easy that way.

A workaround is to engage in lots of foreplay with minimal friction to my own penis. Then I can have sex for 15-30 mins without pain. It is very red by this point, but I can kind of hide it afterwards. I never see the same person again so its no big deal.

However, I want to date now. I think getting someone to be ok with the implant is enough to worry about. Saying 'hey ive an implant AND ALSO my skin also goes this gross red color when i have sex' is something i want to avoid. Lol.

I found applying Aspercream daily helped, effects lasted even after showering it off. It also made me last longer too.

I have not tried any meds. Are you talking about over the counter ones just? No Dr has mentioned it.
