Help about Titan Deflation

Is a movement noticeable when you press the Titan OTR deflate button?

When inflating the implant I feel the bulb pump moving, and then the movement of fluid (from the reservoir to the cylinders).

However, when pressing the Titan deflate button I feel no movement at all. The penis does become softer, but to a limited extent, and I am unable to achieve a completely flaccid penis. Is this because I have just had surgery (last week) and will this change over time?

I'm sure I'm pressing in the right place (the keychain simulator is useful for this).

You won't notice as much movement with deflation as you do inflating. On the Titan while pushing the deflate button you have to squeeze on your shaft to force the fluid back to the reservoir. It will take 30-45 seconds of holding the button and squeezing along the shaft to move as much fluid out as possible.

Thanks for your help. The thing is I don't feel any movement at all and deflation is hardly noticeable and only partial, even when squeezing the shaft.

I watched some instructional videos (e.g. those below), but I appear to struggle a lot more deflating the device than the men in those videos. Is this common in the first period after getting the implant?

My situation seems similar to yours. I am PS so the deflate button is a bit high. Like you I had to deal with seroma and a hemotoma. Im at 29 days and while still there the swelling has greatly reduced. I have two techniques
1- Standing, with my thumb I follow the ureathra back to the pump applying pressure as high to the base of the penis as possible. With the index finger I come up as high as possible and pinch. I find the more I do this the less sensitive I become as most of the deflating issue is mental with a fear of hurting myself.

2- laying on my back. The hand position is the same but I find this forces the testes back making it easier to reach up into the top of the scrotum to get to the pump.

I find in the shower its easiest. Also, I find wrapping my penis in a towel instead of a bare hand for some reason makes squeezing easier.

The topic is very relevant and we are all here trying to support!

I’m on my 7th week and i feel that i’m getting better in terms of pushing the button but still not there!! I was told that cylinders will get softer over time as i feel like i’m semi-hard post deflating and getting used to the new flacid penis feeling and look.

One thing that my Dr tought me is to keep holding the button and squeeze the penis at the same time which did help. So i’m not only pushing the 1 touch one then squeeze and i found it more comforting.

Hello str8, I was implanted on September 18 with a titan 20cm otr. I can tell you I haven't been able to get it to lock in the deflate position. I have to hold the button and squeeze my penis at the same time. I see you have 20cm's of implant also. How long are you with the 20cm titan. I was 6.25" before pyronies and Ed, now I'm 5.5". I'm hoping to gain some back but I'm not sure I will with the size of the implant. It does fit into my glans appropriately and it's much better than what I had with the pyronies. Man, when I was first implanted I really struggled with deflation. Never mind figuring out which end was the deflate end and which end was the concave end — I couldn't even tell if I was squeezing the right sides at all or if I was 90 degrees off. I remember there were times when I would try for minutes, stop for a while, and then come back for minutes more. Eventually I would succeed, but I wasn't sure why it finally worked. I wondered if my deflate mechanism was broken. (All good now!)

Googling pictures of the implant helped. I did have the little keychain thing, but pictures helped more. Here's an example:

Look at the section between the pump and the deflate buttons. See how the metal mechanism makes a sort of "V" with the narrow end at the pump side? I found I could feel that "V" and it would help me orient to the deflation button which is 90 degrees from that. At first I wasn't even sure which side the deflate button itself was on, but it doesn't matter because I was squeezing both sides together anyway. I use my thumb and second finger, trying to make both sides pointy.

Now it's so easy and natural that I'm surprised how hard it originally was. Did my fingers just not know what to feel for? Or was there swelling and stuff so that it actually was harder to feel the right spot? I don't know. Oh, it also helps that it's always in the same place at the same orientation in my scrotum, so you really do get used to how your new body works.

Locating the pump for now is not a problem, it is the deflation causing doubts if I am doing things correctly, or if the slow and partial deflation of the cylinders is common and due to the use of a new implant.

In my experience, the deflate only happens if you squeeze your cock. I mean, when you are 100% full, it'll depressurize a little, but that just makes it slightly softer without it really shrinking. For shrinkage, I need to keep squeezing. Oh! I also need to keep squeezing the deflate button. They call it a "one touch", but it's never worked that way for me, and I've seen similar comments from others in this forum.

Yes, you are correct. I think that was the thing I was not doing right. Today I visited the nurse to get the stiches removed and she got the cylinders deflated in seconds. What she did differently than I did was that she squeezed the penis quite firmly while pressing the deflate button.

Of course, it could also be that she squeezed so hard because she simply hates men...
