This can be an issue for a variety of reasons, not just physical attributes of a partner. Sometimes an injury or other factors may necessitate using alternative positions. When I broke my back years ago, I could not do missionary for a long time and her riding cowgirl was off the books because I couldn't take any weight being placed on my hips when I was healing - even though she doesnt weigh much.Doggy style was a good option, but there were times she wanted penetration while laying on her back. We do like the legs around the neck...but again, when I was healing it put pressure on my spine. We ended up buying a wedge pillow (liberator is the name) and she was able to lift her hips up to where I can easily enter her from the front while maintaining the comfort of doggy style. An additional variation is to put her knees over your shoulders and let her cross her ankles behind your neck. In that way you can easily lift her for better positioning. If her legs are too short to reach your shoulders, having her calves over your forearms can work, too.

p.s. I just noticed that I participated in this thread before with a similar suggestion, but leave this for the added "calves over forearms" suggestion.

My 2¢ worth. Try what I call the X position. She lays on her back, you on your side. Scoot in as she lifts her legs over you. My wife will pull on me with her legs as she gets close. Get really deep that way.
My other suggestion is a sex swing. As long as you have a suitable place to mount it all is good. Hardware on ours is rated for 1200# if weight is a concern. Wife is able to sit/lay in the swing while I stand. For my bad back it's been great.

Yep, I call it the "X" position because of the arrangement of the centerlines of our bodies. "Cross" position was also a candidate name.

"Fallout" was always a problem, even before ED. After orgasm, staying inside my lover was never possible, especially if she squeezed. If there was one undeniable, clear and absolute advantage of an implant, that would be it. Competing for first place with ability to penetrate at all.
