Venous leak

Postby heisenberg23 » Thu May 18, 2023 11:53 am

I have suffered from erectile dysfunction for many years (38 years old, no more problems).
Pills do not work 100%. I have used with cock rings, but it has to be very tight for the blood not to come out, has been getting worse in recent years.
I have weak erections and soon I'm soft.
I'm thinking of trying injections.
I show below the exam I took.

Anything to help????

PENIAL ECO-DOPPLER
Technique:
An ultrasound study was carried out with a 10 MHz multi-frequency probe. A Triplex morphological and hemodynamic study was performed after intracavernous injection of 10 mg of PGE1.
Morphological Study:
The cavernous bodies have normal morphology and ecostructure, with no signs of calcifications or fibrosis zones.
Cavernous arteries with a linear course, normal caliber and without morphological alterations.
Hemodynamic Study:

Early phase (5 min):
Normal velocities were observed in both cavernous arteries with low resistance flow characteristic of this induction phase.
The speeds obtained were as follows:
Right Left
Maximum speed - 35cm (m/s) 33cm (m/s)
Minimum speed - 13cm (m/s) 15cm (m/s)

Late phase (15m):
A satisfactory erection was achieved at an angle of less than 90° to the abdominal wall. The velocities obtained in both cavernous arteries are within normal limits. However, positive diastolic velocities that are not characteristic of this phase continue to be observed. There was also a flow in the dorsal vein of the penis with a persistent character and with increased speeds (20cm/sec).
The speeds obtained were as follows:
Right Left
Maximum speed - 42cm (m/s) 45cm (m/s)
Minimum speed - 5.1cm (m/s) 3,7cm (m/s)

Conclusions:
The morphological study did not reveal alterations worthy of reference in the corpora cavernosa, namely areas of fibrosis or defined calcifications.
In the Doppler study, no signs of arterial insufficiency were observed. However, there was persistent flow in the dorsal vein of the penis and positive diastolic velocities of the cavernous arteries in the late phase, aspects compatible with some degree of venous/occlusive incompetence to be valued according to the patient's clinical data.

Really doesn't matter too much what the test says. If pills don't work well enough for you, try injections.
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

Do you know maybe what EDV numbers you had ? Its the end dialostic velocity the speed that blood flows out of veins.

also - what kind of erection you had from injection? how strong it was compared to erections you get at home and how long erection from injection lasted.

Kind Regards

No matter what the tests say, if you can't get or maintain an erection for sex there needs to be some fix done. Whether you move into injections or get implanted is your decision. All I can add is venous leak only gets worse, it is not fixable. If you take time to read many of the posts here you'll see that most guys did the whole course, pills, injections and finally the implant because of venous leak. Surgery is a big decision for a young man, but the inability to have a normal sex life will probably lead to depression.

exactly what this guy says. my ed progressed since teens up to this moment where I am now, depressed, alone and overall very healthy.
Tomorrow I have an appointment with French doctor and I will speak about CT cavernogram to perform.
If it shows true leak im heading for implant. I want to finish this shit suffering which is ED.

Hey, i wait to 20.11 as my appointment in France had to be reschedule due to my infection of balls i had month ago.

I can have sex with 25-100mg Viagra where 25mg make me possible to have sex in 1 position for 5-10 minutes and 100mg let me penetrate even for 30-40 minutes as long as stimulation is all time present and im limited to 2,3 positions.

If Viagra works still for you then I'd stay far away from an implant. In 10 years there will be better ED Meds most likely and the implants will only advance more and more.

Im not considering implant for sure at this moment. Im just worried that viagra will stop working in 5-10 years. However medication itself is tolerance-resistant but if my issue is truly venous leak it means it will get worse for sure. Thats why i want to visit france to this doctor and make cavernosogram to confirm leakage and define its type. This doctor also offers some surgeries and i hope for surgery that will enhance pills and how they work for me.

On the other side my angiogram said i have narrowed cavernous arteries and because od this fact doppler maybe shown venous leakage as symptom only…. i think like that cuz of my angio results and because pills work good however at bigger amounts.
