Coloplast OTR Pump

Postby Bdale2023 » Mon Oct 30, 2023 1:45 pm

I'm coming up on 7 weeks since I had my implant surgery. I am able to inflate and deflate my device without any problems for the most part. No matter how hard or how long I press on the release valve I am unable to get the one touch function to work. I have to hold down the valve and squeeze my penis at the same time to deflate. Does anyone else have this problem and is there something I'm missing with this thing? ;)

You're doing it right. It is not actually a "One Touch".
I hold the button down while squeezing my shaft, use a layer of towel over my shaft for comfort. It takes 30-45 seconds to get as much fluid out as possible. Once you deflate as much as you can squeeze the pump bulb once or twice to lock it. That prevents auto inflation.

Yes, that's been my experience as well. I've never had it stay in "drain mode" unless I was squeezing the button. I was annoyed at first, but now I like it. It's convenient sometimes to be able to soften it a little without it staying in drain mode. It does seem like an odd name for the device, though. I wonder if lots of them are defective, or if it's just bad marketing.

For me the "one touch" only works if I squeeze the shaft.

I give the deflate valve a hard squeeze while squeezing the shaft with my other hand; I can then let go of the valve and the implant will continue to deflate as long as I maintain squeezing on the shaft.

Be careful when you squeeze the release value too hard. I would be afraid that squeezing too hard over the years might damage the value over time.

I do a gentle push and also squeeze my shaft at the same time, works fine.

I try to do the same thing Wolfpacker, but when I let go of the release valve while squeezing my penis it stops deflating until I press the deflate valve again.
