24 hour update; overnight pain ebbed and flowed a bit nothing past a level of 4 or so with most of the discomfort coming from the area around the base of the shaft. Drain pulled this morning after only a little draining overnight. Incision looks good and I can feel the pump thanks to what seems to be mild swelling in the scrotum. The Doc told my wife that he had to extend some of the tubing(assuming from the reservoir to the pump) so that he could get it in the right position. Appears to be low and in the middle of my sack. Didn’t get any instructions to pull on it. They’ve had my penis wrapped in crulex just to support it but this morning the NP said I can unwrap it if I wished and can experiment with pointing the penis up for comfort and that it could help take some tension off of the incision. I’m somewhat inflated but I know that it looks nothing like what I hope the finished product will be.

48 hour update: Discharged and home yesterday morning. Mostly just sore with some occasional pain in the scrotum on the left side near where I can feel the pump. I gently explored the area and was able to feel the pump and the block with the release valve but didn't really try to figure out which side was which. Messing around caused some discomfort akin to getting hit in the balls. Took no narcotics today and only used Tylenol and Ibuprofen once each throughout the day. So far so good......I am told I won't see the doc until I'm 4 weeks in. Feels like I'm maybe 30-40% inflated, I hang at around 4 o'clock and I'm still a little malleable. Comfort-wise it seems the best to keep it pointed up toward my navel and ice on the scrotum.

Now comes the real hard part of a implant, staying calm, healing completely takes a long ass time. Do what the doctor tells you and don’t be trying to speed the process up. Its the hardest part, the patients you need to use. You will be cycling soon enough. Hope you post a picture of a 26 titan! thats a big one. Enjoy the process bro.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Yes, I'm eager to know how the finished product will look and feel but I trust you guys who have been through it and I'm committed to staying the course. My goal is to post before (as in before ED took hold) and after pics. One of the hardest parts of the decision to do this was the fear of losing any of what I had before. I hope to be an example case of keeping what I had.

What did you think of Dr. Taylor? He was great for me. Really an underrated high volume implant urologist IMO

He's been great! I have been seeing him for a few years for the ED and had no idea he was as high volume as he is. The staff at the hospital all talked about how awesome he is to work with.
