Tubing placement

Postby Franklin22 » Fri Nov 03, 2023 8:45 pm

I was just wanting to compare notes with the other guys. I think now that everything has healed for me I have a better idea that this will be the final outcome.
I can feel tubing the bottom of my shaft let’s say for about an inch up. And when laying down I can pretty much see the line from the pump running up from sac using my camera on phone of course. Overall, I’m happy with the final outcome, but was hoping it would be a little less noticeable being single and all.
But it is what it is.
Everyone has the bottom part of shaft with tubing ?

yes, the bottom of the shaft on the right-hand side. I don't think it's an inch up the ladder but it could be I suppose.

Meh, I would rather it not be there but small beans compared to the net value.

Ok, it could be a half inch. It’s not a huge deal. I just wanted to make sure this was pretty normal. I’ve used this thing a few times and not a single girl has mentioned anything.
Thanks for the feedback.

My tubing was erroneously placed where my scrotum meets the Shaft... problem is, I'm border line turkey necking it, thus nearly mudshaft. It's on the penetrative portion. This then causes the penis to jam and bend. Now I've ruptured the corporatomy and the cylinder has avulsed causing a huge bulge....

Revision this Monday to Titan... wish me luck fellas

Time to talk about RTEs, my dr explained that there primarily use was to adjust the connection point of the tubing.
Because the implant comes in standard sizes an adjustment system needs to be implemented, or if a patient is concerned about rte use it could be that a adjusting bit was not used? If things lined up pretty close? For me I can’t feel the tube that goes into the shaft end, of course the testical end can be felt. That end is annoying but unavoidable, wishing for better more flexible tubing in the future

Interesting discussion all...I've been able to see and feel the tubing since the healing process finalized almost 4 years ago. Everything is pretty much 'free' to move in my scrotum and doesn't bother me. In my case, the tubing is 'feelable' from the point it comes out of my pelvis, runs down my right side and into my scrotum. I can trace it to the pump and then to each cylinder to the point of entry/ connection with the cylinder. All good now but since the tubing is showing at the base of my shaft (for about an inch), it has caused some irritation during sex. Since I conclude that it is what it is and (as I state in my profile below) there will NEVER be a 'next time' or revision for any reason (I'm 76 1/2) I live with it. Good luck with any of y'all redoing anything...if you have the $$$ and don't care about the abusive medical care/ staff as they 'practice' on you in a hospital setting, any follow-on problems is never their faulty! As for me...I'm DONE with them!

No, not everyone.
With Infrapubic surgery, the cylinder tubes exit the corpus on top of the shaft. Infrapubic implants are produced with longer tubes to allow for draping around the shaft before descend down to the pump. Ideally, with infrapubic surgery, the tubes should be tucked behind the fat pad and not noticeable.

With Penoscrotal install, these tubes exit on the bottom of the shaft and positioned more central in the scrotal sack. Ideally they exit the corpus towards the rear of the scrotum and descend directly down to the pump behind the testicles.

I had Penoscrotal surgery. The only way I can feel tubes is if I palpate deep into the scrotum behind the testicles. My tubes are completely out of sight and out of mind. The boys are free to slap ass without tubes getting in the way.

There’s multiple variables that can affect how prominent the tubing is post surgery. Some that come to mind; Individual anatomy such as crus depth and scrotum shape/size. Infrapubic vs Penoscrotal routing of tubes. Surgeon skill and techniques such as position of the corpus incisions, use of RTE’s, etc. Also use of a factory pre-connected implant vs surgeon cutting tubing to length and using crimp connectors. correctly. That said, there are probably certain combinations of variables when even the best of surgeons can’t 100% conceal the tubes.

I had pubic entry. Tubing at the base of my dick is slightly noticable. I can feel my reservoir tubing going straight up on the right side of my abbs to just below my ribs. Anyone else feel tubing going to the reservoir?

Mine is infrapubic so tubes exit just above my shaft. You could feel them if you dug in deep after healing, but now I’ve recently lost 40 pounds and I can see a little bit of the tubing where it comes out above my shaft. I can trace it around the shaft on left side all the way to the pump. However it is seemingly attached right to the tissue and will not move at all til it enters the scrotum area. It’s never been an issue and it doesn’t bother me now. Wife just loves my hard dick now!
