Post-op girth concerns
Post-op girth concerns
Hi, Ill probably choose to get an implant soon as a 25 yr old. I dont have a totally dead erection but it’s subpar and getting worse. My erection isnt girthy to begin with. I’m 4.5” midshaft and 4.25” base. Will they be sizing me for midshaft size or will I be limited by the smaller base size? Also, will I be smaller post-op? I dont have much girth to give so even every .1 counts…
Re: Post-op girth concerns
I dont mean to sound cross but this topic has been hashed out a million times. Do a search on girth and sizing, you should find tons of info.
That said, your size is predominantly determined by your anatomy not how the surgeon chooses an implant. You likely will gain some girth at your size but you are limited by your tunica.
Go to good doctor and tell them your concerns, they will likely be candid and do a great job of explaining what they can do and cant. This is a question that the doctors doing this surgery should not only expect they should be prepared to explain in detail.
Dr Hakky was very forthcoming with me on size and expectations.

These idiots spend more time (and words) shitting on you for asking and telling you know that it’s already been covered than they would’ve just answering the question.
Your base is going to increase

Ok keyboard warrior…. I didn’t shit on anyone, the topic has been well covered and there is a bevy of info already available, how is that incorrect or shitting on anyone? Shake the sand out.
How do you know for sure his base will increase? How many of these surgeries have you performed? I think it arguable that some of the common questions here can be best answered by the poster’s doctor. Im sure a good doctor who does this all day long is prepared to answer a question about how to size an implant much better than any of the “idiots” as you like to say, on this board.
Also, when you call someone an idiot you should check your post for grammar and syntax… if you want to call me names, fine, do it in person. Ill be in Knoxville all week if you need to meet up.

I’ve never read anywhere about anyone’s base not increasing.
Also, I can’t figure out why some old man is threatening to fight someone who calls him out for being a cunt

1st, again, what experience do you have with performing implant surgeries? What qualifies your opinion as being more salient than my advice to ask a qualified doctor who is going to perform the actual surgery on the OP.
2nd, You call me out and when I say to say it to my face you refuse and call me a cunt. Thats rich. Im thinking the dude who just throws insults and then runs his mouth and refuses to do so face to face is acting cunty.
Ill give you the last word, Im not going to play this back and forth word throwing. Action speaks louder than words. You can keep hurling insults and refuse to act. Im done.

Re: Post-op girth concerns
I don't have an implant yet but I wondered this question aswell as my erection also changed size from middle to base. As far as I understand, Craig is correct about the base getting thicker. That's the general consensus I received but I am not absolutely sure as I haven't had the operation yet. Good luck!

Well that escalated quickly…..The whole point of a message board is to start topics and let people chime in. I’m sure every subject there is has been discussed and found. Does this mean no one should ever post another topic again because the answer can be found?
Sometimes people may want to get fresh advice and perspective. You don’t feel like answering the topic, then just move on.
I’m not just referring to this post, I’ve seen people say that in the past. To be quite honest, this message board seems a bit boring with not many new topics started lately. I feel we definitely should be encouraging more people to post whatever they may want an answer to.
And to answer the post, my girth was 4.5 and increased almost an inch.,

JFC…I never said to not post. I never said nobody should post about a topic that has been covered. This is a topic that has been well covered, There are many posts about sizing, I was encouraging the OP to do a search. I wasn't being an idiot or a cunt, in fact I gave a pretty clear answer beyond mentioning that FT has a huge library of info to go back on.
The OPs question while valid, salient and with good intention will begat a rash of opinion,( unless a poster is an actual surgeon who performs these surgeries, and Im not sure there are many IPP surgeons posting here) Check out the archive, Im positive Im correct and will lay odds at 100/1 this topic has been covered since the birth of this forum at least 25 times.
My point is this, this is a serious and major surgery and your doctor should be able to explain how he or she sizes and give a fairly educated estimate on outcome. That will be exponentially more accurate and reliable than another guy’s personal opinion based on a single specific and personal experience.
Again the original question was fair, salient and with good intent, so was my response. Maybe the lack of emotional cue in postings made it seem callus and abrasive, that was not my intent.
Again I stand by my response, the doctor who is performing the surgery, who has examined the OP is best suited for a very direct and pointed question about the physical outcome of a specific patients surgery. Im sure any good IPP surgeon would agree with me.

Re: Post-op girth concerns
I would like to add, if you have chosen a good surgeon they should have given you a phone number to text them on to ask questions about your specific surgery. Dr Hakky did that for me, so did Dr Clavell before I had to change doctors. If they arent open to answering what is likely one of the top three questions they receive from patients, find a new surgeon.
