Hi,
I am 44 and i have only started to use Caverject (Aprostadil), this is because Viagra,Levitra have stopped working for me over the last 2 years. They have lost effectiveness completely. This devastated me until i recently started using injections which seem to work .
My fear though is that the injections may also eventually lose efficacy or stop working with time just like Viagra,Levitra ...that would be hard to bear and a difficult situation to be in and would probably edge me close to even 3rd level of ED treatment ie penile implants etc and full total ED (impotence)
Has anyone had the injections failure after years or even months of use ?Please share your experience on how to keep this drug effective for years
Because they work in different pathways to Viagra/Levitra (which are dependent on other factors like adequate Nitric Oxide, testosterone etc )
i hope this is not the case .
Hopefully these injections will stay effective for a long time until other ED treatment options like Vitaros,Zoraxel,PnTx 2-6 etc and all become available on
Please tell us how long you have been using it and how consistent and successful they have always been. Thanks
Does Injections stop working after a while ?

I guess many of us are in the same boat. My only observation is if it starts to lose effectiveness, get a stronger formula.
I think I read that you aren't in the US? and may not be able to get tri-mix? If so, maybe eventually it will be available for you and give you success longer. Sorry for all the speculation.

I have used Trimix (which the major ingredient is Aprostadil) for nearly 3 years.
It is still the same formula, and the same dose. As long as all other aspects of your health stay the same, I assume your present medication will be the same.
I am planning on another 3 years of good erections with Trimix..... I hope I am right

Re: Does Injections stop working after a while ?
I have been using Edex (Caverject) for about two years. Most of the time it is very effective. Every once in a while I guess I miss the mark while injecting and frustrating it results in no useable erection. I use it about once a week and alternate the use of a VED. I am wondering as well if over time the injections will lose their effectiveness. Some report that the injections lose effectiveness; while other report 10+ years for blissful use. Perhaps it is an individual matter. Who knows for sure.

When I first started using Trimix about 30 months ago, I worked my effective dosage down to 12 units. Over the past year, I have needed to slowly increase my effective dose up to 45 units, which has remained effective over the last two months.
