I'm on my 2nd appeal. Have all the proof in the world that BCBS gave the go ahead for my surgery which was one year ago. My next review is early December and will add a note that I'd hate to have to use an attorney. I'm on the hook for $30,000 and from what I'm being told by the surgeons office, they are confident that they will pay....eventually. It's awful what these companies do.

Ultimately, that's what needed to be corrected in order to get approval from my insurance company.

I can't say it enough. A poorly functioning office staff can degrade the quality of a fairly decent implant surgeon. Alot of drs don't have much experience in selecting & running the staff.
