Since I can't do shyt, might as well be down in the winter and not Spring or Summer. According to my URO.

Here's my approx Timeline from my URO.

1. 3 - 5 DAYS....I will curse and hate my URO, even with the real pain meds.
2. 10 DAYS.....Pain pills & Ice
3. 2 - 3 WEEKS.....I will feel some relief with Ice, occasional Pain Med
4. 6 - WEEKS.....Continue with Ice
5. 12 WEEKS.....Things will get better

LMAO  :)  I finally figured out how to quote. Please don't tell anyone. Hahaha
We seem to be close to the same timeline as I am scheduled on January 5. I meet with my surgeon on the 13th and have many questions, too much idle time. I'd imagine that my timeline would be similar to yours. I too am In line for an AMS 700. My Dr has implanted both Coloplast and Amx but prefers AMS due the Antibiotics. Just like you i am ready to start the process

Just to give you some encouragement, I think everyone’s timeline is different. I’m day 6 post op and not using any pain meds. Occasionally I will take two Advil for cycling (that’s the only part that hurts like hell) but could go without. I think most feel somewhat back to normal by a month, so that’s what I’m hoping for. Versus the 3 months you were quoted. I think that’s probably a worst case scenario.

Bigdog4all. Your timeline might be more dire than reality. By my 6 week checkup which was closer to 7 weeks due to scheduling. I was basically pain free. Maybe an ibuprofen at night to ensure good sleep. Surgery day was on a Monday, Friday was my worst day. I forget how many pain pills I was taking per day but I took an extra one on Friday. I was worried as all hell that I might run out of them. But my pain subsided a lot after Friday. I'm not sure if I even took my last pain pill. You might consider taking you pain pills a few hours farther apart early on so to have an extra 1 or 2 for your worst day.

You can safely take Tyenol & ibuprofen together if you alternate doses. I'm slightly allergic to ibuprofen but I didn't show any allergic signs by alternating them. Buy two medium sized bottles of the generics at your favorite big box store. Recover happily.

Oh, be carefull. Some of the pain meds might have acetaminophen in them. Thats generic Tyenol. Be sure to count any that might be in your pain meds so you don't exceed the acetaminophen total dose.

While I've been typing. Iwillbeatpd made a post. He is spot on. In your early cycling days. Take an ibuprofen about an hour before cycling. It really helps. You don't want to be totally pain free. Some pain helps tell you when you've pumped enough. But keep the pain bearable.

After my malleable i tried some tight boxer briefs and it was painful. I'm hoping that its different after this procedure. I did go commando as well, prolly gonna be the best plan.

FinallyBionic,
Looks like you are well in your way. I hope have a similar recovery and hopefully minimal losses due to the the quick turnaround (Priapism/surgery) and having a malleable.

I too wear Seperatec and really like them. They make a comfortable heavy cotton version called “Everyday”. Those are great for work and, well, everyday. They also sell a thinner, silkier version that are a bit more expensive. I wear those when going out with the girlfriend. They don’t pull your package in as much as the cotton thus giving you a bigger bulge, but man, they’re comfortable.

What are the silkier ones called?

Here are the silkier ones I am using, as Thailandbound said they are so comfortable, but show a little bulge. Your penis won't be forced to bend.

Time2change mentioned an important point about point up your dick while recovering. Some doctors recommend this to have an angle less than 3 o'clock. However, this is not proven to work. Not every surgeon suggests it. I felt comfortable going commando, but not sure if this affected the final angle. I am right at 3 o'clock since I could inflate to the max.

I'm prepared for the worse. I do hope that it isn't as extensive as BigDog4all lol. I do have a high tolerance for pain. I took only two of my hydrocodone after my first procedure but i did alternate Tylenol and motrin. I do understand that i didn't have a pump or reservoir installed. Hopefully it wont be to bad. Just glad to be able to lean on a bunch guys with knowledge and experience, makes me feel more at ease. The knowledge on here is incredible and the reads are addictive.

I will definitely get those underwear. They look good. I may have to trim down so i dont have dick do. Lol

I was at 3 o’clock before surgery and the same post op. I was never specifically told by my surgeon to do that even though I read about it before my surgery. Because he didn’t mention it, I’d assume it’s not a guarantee it works. Also, the higher your erection angle = the higher your flacid angle, remember that. And lastly, imagine reverse cowgirl position with a dick at 2 o’clock.

Better ask your doc. I read all these posts and thought, no problem. Well, I had some pd and the doc pumped me to 80-90% hard. I have a deep cruse so my hard implant stuck straight out 6 inches at 3 o'clock. Being pumped that hard , if anything touched the skin, even my shirt tail, It was extremely painful. Doc left me rock hard for 4 weeks. Dick that you could hang a towel on. I laid on the couch or in my hot tub for the 4 weeks.
